Realstar – Resident Portal

The app is ok but reporting is very basic. We were asked to record a video of the issue but there’s no way to upload the video against the maintenance request and there’s no ability for a back and forth dialog on the issue or an ability to see any feedback or allow us to close requests once the work has been completed and we have had the chance to verify that the work has been completed and the problem fixed. A true ‘service’ app would allow for this and there are plenty of options off the shelf that could be used in place of this very basic form.

Doesn’t remember your login and password to enter. Very annoying every time you want to enter the app - type in your username and password…

The login issues are persistent and more and more annoying. Additionally, the fact that the app charges extra (and no small fee) for paying rent through it is not an encouragement for using the feature. The way the balance is maintained is ridiculous, not even management was able to offer a simple explanation. Our records are cleaner than their. Overall though, it does help submit work orders and check balance, as bad as it works. 3 stars

This is an amazing way to request maintenance work to be completed.

Easy to use

I cannot sign up for the portal, because I can’t find my building address in the App. It only works for Ontario residents… Bad experience!
