Listen, there’s nothing wrong with machine learning at all. It’s been used for decades and it’s a giant part of why and how the internet and software works. Rebranding to Recall AI is silly and only pandering to the market bubble that’s currently barreling towards a pop. Sad to see this well though out app travel down that road as well. Also there’s no dark mode that I can find on this app. Maybe the only app I use regularly that doesn’t have it. Maybe focus on user experience instead of marketing. Cheers.
I got the lifetime deal for this app originally. Unfortunately they seem to have cancelled that and now asking me to make either monthly or annual payments or purchase another lifetime subscription.
Please change if you can, the app’s icon and the name of the app. The app itself is great, but I often don’t recall what the app is called as IIRC seems so random even if it stands for something. When I see it, I immediately think of an RC car which is kind of annoying. And the icon itself should convey what the app is as well. Just suggestions as the app itself is awesome and a great idea that works well. But just feel that the name of the app and the app’s icon design could use some updating and refining. Keep up the good work! Update: Found a bug when creating a summary of content. The app is no longer making paragraphs and instead when there is supposed to be a paragraph the text is pushed up against the period without a space. For example appears like “this. The” … kind of frustrating. Hope this can be fixed in an update too!
I love this app so much. I’ve only been using it for a short while and have found it to be very useful in my day to day productivity. I can’t wait for future updates to see how it can get even better. The icing on the cake is how nice and responsive the developer is. That, in itself, is a reason to support this app. I say give it a try if you haven’t yet!
This app is truly one of my kind. The ability for it to parse information from your documents, articles, books, or any other written form of communication is astounding. The quizzes are actually relevant and help you remember the important information. 2 thumbs up and five stars for sure
I like the app as it does what it says. What not is good is that I got a free premium lifetime subscription. I reinstalled the App and found that my lifetime subscription had expired so I am deleting the app.
Was advertised as Free as part of AppAdvice download (so) I download the App ~ let them have all my info for their data mining boondoggle of greed And nope not free no soup for you kid!! #sad greed ruins everything 🤮
Excellent app that will summarize any article for you (just enter text or website). I especially like the AI-generated quiz one can take after reading, to ensure material is learned. Highly recommended!
I love how iirc builds a personalized learning plan and works with any app from the share sheet. I'm @lucidstarfield on X and a fan of Luca's work!
