When you spend money to purchase to the full version on your macbook you still cant sync with your devices unless you spend more money on each device which is very misleading. Seems like they try to trick you into purchases by misleading you that you will be able to sync to iPhone and iPad. Love the app im just disapointed i cant take my iphone or ipad in to the kitchen as a convenience...
I really enjoy being able to see my recipes on all my devices so when im at the grocery store I can quickly reference the recipe or if I'm at work and I see a recipe online I want to save I can use my Macbook app to add it to the "cookbook". It has helped me for meal planning to be organized and helps me eat better during the week!
I have been using Recipe Keepter for several years now and couldn't be happier. Unlike other apps I have tried, it is simple, adaptable, and unobtrusive. I don't use/need all the features, but it is nice to know they are there for future. I also appreciate that I can share receipes with others in several mediums, on line, on paper, email, etc. Thanks
Very disappointing. While I completely understand charging cross platform (windows & android) charging for macOS vs iOS ….no. My m1 Mac mini uses the same architecture as the as iOS app, so you aren’t having to develop a second app for another platform. That’s why iPhone & iPad apps are available for download on the App Store. You just choose to not to let the m1 use the same app. Had I know this was the case, I would have never bought the app in the first place. The verbiage in your app should completely specify macOS and iOS are charged separately.
I'm a life-long recipe collector, have used recipe cards, recipe books, three-ring binders, Mastercook, and when I found Recipe Keeper and the easy, easy way it imports recipes with photos from websites, my recipe collecting life was forever improved. Literally the only thing I would add is being able to create a cookbook with three columns per page and recipes listed one after the other - so I don't need as many pieces of paper. 10/10
It is not made clear at all that you will be charged separately on each device to sync recipes. I see the developer responding to each review bringing this up by saying "other apps charge more". Cool, but they also tell you up front what you're paying for.
I love how I can add recipes from the internet. I love this application. It's so easy to add recipes from the internet, or manually input recipes. It's easy to categorize recipes into easily searchable tags. Additioinally all my recipes are easily accable from all my devices. I use my Mac to search for and add recipes, and my IPAD when I'm cooking to follow the recipes.
I love this program. As a novice but passionate cook, the program assists in categorizing/maintaining/finding awesome recipes to try. Highly recommended.
I have tried several recipe keeping apps and this is without a doubt the best one. I was using the recipe keeper on the AllRecipes web site,but this app is a lot better than that. Editing, saving, importing, and even deleting recipes is so easy. I simply love it.
I just love this app. It is so easy to import recipes, customize categories and other things, organize the recipes, designate favorites, make shopping lists, etc. It really has everything I've needed. My kids have bought the app and can log into my account to share my recipes.
