$30 a month for a COLORING app? Nah.

All about ads or money. No clear access to any variety of pictures. Only one picture available when I first opened the app. Anything else and it was required to subscribe. And complicated to even get it started.

I’ve had Recolor for a few months now. I fricking love it! It’s not a color by number. I can pick my own colors for things. I guess one thing some people might have problems with is the ads. Well more like ad. You have to watch one advertisement for each picture you wanna color. I understand it though, people need money. I just really like that it’s not All in your face. Like an advertisement for liking a published picture, or just publishing a picture. It’s only once. I enjoy coloring. I get people need money so i understand if people don’t like it for the ads. But I think it’s a great game and I’m okay with one ad for a picture I like. Just 1 is worth it.

I have been using this app for more than six years and this app is a slayyyyy💅🏻😭I love it sm and it really helps me express my feelings and expressions🦋✨

This app is my "go to app" when I need a mental getaway" at my desk or destress at doctors appointments, etc! I ended up purchasing it to unlock features & the few upgrades I'd like to see is the option to use more than one filter on a picture, the ability to have the live colors stay live and rotating pictures work once they're published. I wish I could jump from phone to tablet and vice versa, but my subscription access/perks won’t transfer even though the content does. Can that be changed?? All in all I love this app!!

Hi! So I will absolutely change my rating to 5 stars if the extensive issues I started encountering are fixed. I’ve had premium for a few years, and it’s great for anxiety/for people of literally any age or skill level. But as another commenter said—and it’s been something I certainly realized this past year—there’s rarely (if ever..?) new content to work with. “Dailies” are almost always pictures that I immediately recognize, because I’ve either started using it or have totally finished it previously. Or occasionally it’s one that i decided to pass on… The point is—I was led to believe that with the subscription, there would be one NEW photo released every day for those who pay A LOT OF MONEY for premium to color in…. So, recently the app has been totally acting up. When I open it, the main page won’t load, so I have to try and figure out a way to work around that—but when I go to my news feed to see others’ work, and I select a picture and try to click the button used to paint the same picture that the other person used to color in. Said button is unresponsive, every time I try. I’m not a review writer, but I can’t tell you how insanely frustrating this is. About a year ago I actually experienced the same type of bugginess, leading me to delete and redownload the app. It wouldn’t let me sign in with my precious login info, so I had to create a new one and lost every piece of work I’d completed—each one I’d spent many many hours in total to finish. I didn’t complain then—but I don’t want this to happen again! I see that there haven’t been any updates to the app for over 9 months. It’s VERY rare to see that any app with a subscription option goes THAT LONG without doing ANYTHING to improve, add to, or fix the content and functionality of the app—there are so many things that could be added] that would improve the user’s experience using the app! Please update so that is tops being so buggy, I’d really appreciate it and will quickly adjust my rating and comment. Best!
