They try to swindle you for money

Igor Ganapolsky on

They keep proposing refunds and rebates and disputes in your accounts. However, they keep saying you have to pay an additional $4.99. Then, when you do, they tell you you have to pay another $29.99 to but more credits. So far, I have gotten no use out of this app.

THIS APP COULD BE BETTER!

So I only gave this app five ⭐️ because I wanted it to be seen. At first this app was great but for the past year I haven’t been able to cash out because I can’t get any badges because I’ve had the same offers for over a year now. I have well over enough points but no badges because they haven’t updated the offers they just leave the same offers on there so how can the ones of us that’s already done those offers able to cash out again? I’m starting to think this app is a scam it draws you in let’s u cash out ur first $10 and then that’s it. I’ve even tried surveys to get badges cause it says we can get badges that way but NOPE you can’t I’ve tried for months and not once did I get a badge not even a piece of a badge. I am so close to closing my account and deleting the app the only reason I haven’t so far is because of the money I have made on this app. SO RECOUP WHEN ARE YALL GUNA UPDATE OFFERS AND ADD MORE OFFERS SO THE ONES OF US WHOS DONE THE ONES THATS BEEN ON THERE FOR A YEAR NOW CAN GET BADGES? OR IS THIS APP JUST A BIG SCAM? Y’all need to add/update offers so people that’s been on this app since day one can have access to there money they have made on here

It’s a scam

You have to spend money to get your rewards. Stick to Ibotta and others.

Not worth your time

They switched to a subscription model with no warning and now all of my points are inaccessible. Only option is to pay up or delete account. They’re now charging almost $100 a year lol. There are dozens of other apps that do this and don’t charge, better pay outs too. Don’t waste your time or money here.

They don’t tell you there is a monthly fee

Useless

Used this app to get my banking overdraft fees refunded. It’s been well over 30 days and haven’t received any communication in the app or by email from Recoup that I’m getting them back or not. Also haven’t heard anything from my bank. They charge a one time fee for this service, but then don’t actually DO anything. Complete scam.

Not for me

I wanted to use this app so bad, but I refuse to allow PLAID to login to my bank accounts, so they can snap photos of my transactions for their advertising/data collecting business.

Worthless

I was excited for this app. Being able to get cash back is so helpful in this economy, however it is pretty much impossible to get the money. You have to earn badges by surveys, offers, or video reviews. Surveys give 1/8 of a badge and most of the time you don’t even get that. The offers are subscriptions that cost more than a badge is worth($5 cash out per badge). The video reviews require you to send it out to people and get 25 likes. They ask for a lot of info, and if you could actually cash out without jumping through crazy hoops and spending more money than you would get, it would be worth it.

Can’t actually redeem

CarlaLovesBluenWalnut on

Sure you earn points but they’re useless unless you get “badges”. And to get badges you have to complete offers where you actually have to spend money. So I don’t see how this is a rewards app. No other rewards app conditions their points like this.

Terrible

All the hoops you have to jump through just to cash out each time make it not remotely worthwhile. Easy to accumulate cash and just about impossible to earn the one badge necessary for each cash out.
