I used to love this when it was a free app, but am very disappointed that it’s a subscription service now. I understand that it costs money to run an app like this, but I would have preferred it to be a one time payment to use the app then. Is this app really important enough to include in my monthly expenses?
Disapointed
This used to be a good app where I would spend a lot of time everyday finding new songs and I loved it. But since you started charging people for swiping through songs (!!!) it’s become completely unusable and this will only make you lose money rather than making money, because no one wants to use the app anymore.
Conflicted
I love finding new music, and I had grown really fond of Discz way of doing it and I understand that it was expensive to keep it going the way you had, but I feel like there's a better way of doing it.
A lot of us suggested ads, take everskies for example you can watch a (mostly) skippable ad and get their in game currency then wait 5 minutes and do it all over again. If you implemented that to recs it could look like: once your daily swipe limit is over you can watch a (skippable?) ad and get 3 minutes of unlimited swiping once the 3 minutes are up you'll have to watch another ad to keep going. Or whatever the ad to minute ratio permits.
I'm just sad that what we had for free is now behind a paywall, and I wish I had cherished it more when I could. As a minor and a victim of capitalism I'm very stingy with my money, 29kr every month is just a lot to me.
But for now I'll enjoy my 0-2 cheezits everyday.
Sounds do not work
I found that often times when you leave the app to go to another, then return the music will no longer work, even after closing and opening the app a few times. I bought premium and even then it doesn’t work. It is a cool idea but needs to be function, especially for paying customer!
Could be Better but good
I downloaded this and was pretty mad about the pay wall sense they pitch this app as just what discz used to be which besides the pay wall it is. Which is true but it unfortunately has the exact same problems as it used to. Like the fact that you have to pay 10 dollars for a app that can’t export to Apple Music. A issue that was fixed in the discz app but not this. Disappointing but if you can look past that a pretty good app
I’m obsessed
This app is so useful. I’m literally a psycho when it comes to music and finding good songs, especially underground music. This app has helped so much and I’m a huge fan. When I first got Discz it was exactly like this, now Discz and Recs have separated but honestly love all of it. It’s such a good concept.
App fell off 👎
It was cool until they put all the features that made it cool behind a paywall. I’m not paying $3 a month to find new music.
greed
just greed
Idk
I just started using it, so I don’t have the full experience. But I like the app, it’s just the song limits is 4. I get that they have to make money, but I feel like the daily limit of songs should be a little larger like maybe 6 or 7. That’s just my opinion, but I do like it.
