Whether you are an aspiring ‘tactical athlete’ or currently serving, you need to be involved.
This is the best training available. From a recruit in the military to a trainee in blue light services, even if you are a fitness coach and need accountability, you won’t find better considering it’s an app and for the price.
Completely bespoke and adaptable training based on you and your needs. A very easy to use interface and responsive team behind every aspect, you cannot do anything but achieve your goals and win with this app.
I’ve used this app for roughly 18 months and I am always improving on the standards I create for myself.

Brilliant and detailed app which presents a structured, guided workout routine specifically tailored to the individual that adjusts on the fly based on previous data and prompts to the user. Worth every penny twice over.
Don’t do it unless you are prepared to lose at least part of your subscription
I was drawn in by the book that I enjoyed immensely. I mistakenly subscribed for 6 months. The app seems unstable and I lost access for a few weeks between iOS updates. Support was non existent.
You can get equally good guidance off YouTube unless you are serious about becoming a para. Otherwise don’t bother.

Game changer
Best fitness app on the market. Bar none. Genuinely thought I was reasonably fit all round when I joined the app. I didn’t realise what I was missing. Listened to mikes book which combined with this program is like a cheat code. For context: took my 5k run time at 91kg from 22:31 when I did my first test week in feb, to 21:55 at the end of my first block to 20:02 12 weeks later, this block I’m on track to do a sub 20, still maintaining c.90kg bodyweight. All lifts have gone through the roof and genuinely less injured, more stable and more mobile than I’ve ever been. The cost of the app is outrageously low vs the quality of the content, trust in the process and results will follow.
Annoying
Good training program but the app itself is quite bad between regularly logging you out and not showing your program didn't want to be negative as I’m otherwise enjoying the training program but over the last few months of using it has been a issue.
The App I Wanted
I’ve been looking for the app that generates a personalised programme for the budding tactical athlete for a long time. I’ve tried similar products like Stoic Conditioning but Red On is a) better and b) cheaper so it’s a win win.

Best Functional Training App
This is the best functional fitness app out there! It is all tailored to your test week and easy to use. I have only been following the red on challenge programme and with no extra training I completed a hilly (1050ft elevation gain) off-road half marathon in under two hours. The next day my legs were fine and no major aches!
Mike also sells socks - The socks were also epic, the course was wet and muddy and they kept my feet blister free! Thanks again.
