This is a really great camera app. One of the best I have tried.
Works well. Very intuitive. Love the reticles. Needs a FOCUS LOOP!
The best camera app on the market, both easy to understand and use
Huge potential but crippled by the fact that after you take a photo, the settings reset back to some auto settings. Eg, I set the exposure duration to 1/10000 and take a very under exposed photo, as I intend to. Then for the next shot, the exposure duration is back to 1/120 or something. Not professional functionality. A pro camera remains on manual until I direct it to do otherwise.
Reeflex IS almost everything the developers say it is, except for one thing... After paying to buy the app, based on what's described and shown on the Appstore, when you go to activate the much touted slow shutter, one of the big selling features, it's somewhat shocking to then be asked to spend more money to sign up to a yearly subscription, or pay more again for 'lifetime' access. I have never had an issue paying for apps, even expensive ones, but I have a huge issue paying for something thinking I was buying product X only to receive X minus Y, then am asked to spend more to get what was advertised to me for the initial price. The app looks great. The selling tactic is not. Considering filing for a refund.
I’m loving this app as it gives me better control. But I am also wondering where I could find the metadata on this app providing the iso and shutter information. In addition to that can you incorporate the shutter button with Bluetooth enabling the user to use a remote control button. In addition, the app crashes when I turn on manual focus peaking while in motion blur and star trail mode. Is there any chance of getting this fixed as I love using the app…
I’m a photographer and have struggled to find a phone app that gives you manual computational control over the camera. Then Reeflex comes out and it’s brilliant and free! The best part however is accessed by paying a little extra and gaining access to the long exposure settings. Both light trails / star trails and day time that you could use for clouds etc. you can set it from anywhere between 1 second and 2 hours and then bulb. If you want to get the most out of your phone camera get this app.
Really great app - I mainly take long exposure photos and it’s been really fun using it. It’s very easy to navigate the functions. Having the focus highlights and histogram are really useful features. I hope soon they add the Raw capability for long exposures.
Nice app. Would be good to have a complication for Apple Watch to be used as a remote shutter for the long exposure function, which has been long needed in a camera app.
