Reflect Notes FAQ

Yes, Reflect Notes is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Reflect Notes legit?
✅ The Reflect Notes app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
I’ve tried a lot of different apps for note taking and I’ve always felt like I’m trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Reflect finally feels like home for how my brain processes notes and memories. I love the daily note format and back linking. It’s so much easier to keep things organized and not feel overwhelmed by having to go organize my notes all the time. The AI takes it all to the next level with transcription for voice and automatically applying backlinks to my notes.
Complete Game-Changer!!
Reflect is hands down the best note-taking and productivity app I've ever used, and I've tried them all! This app is a total game-changer when it comes to keeping your thoughts, ideas, and information organized and easily accessible.
What I love most about Reflect is how it combines note-taking, knowledge management, and productivity features into one super intuitive and user-friendly package. The app's AI is like having a genius personal assistant that helps you capture your ideas, sort them out, and even find connections you might have missed.
Jotting down notes and thoughts is a piece of cake with Reflect. The app's smart suggestions and prompts make it so easy to capture your ideas on the fly. And once you've got your notes in the app, organizing them is a breeze with the awesome categorization and tagging features.
But here's where Reflect really shines: it doesn't just help you take notes; it actually helps you discover new insights and connections within your ideas. The app analyzes your notes and suggests related resources, links, and concepts, allowing you to dive deeper into your thoughts and come up with fresh perspectives.
Another thing that makes Reflect stand out is how customizable it is. Whether you're a student, professional, or creative type, you can tweak the app's templates, workflows, and integrations to perfectly suit your needs and preferences.
So, if you're looking for an all-in-one solution to keep your digital life in order and boost your productivity, Reflect is definitely the way to go. It's the best note-taking and knowledge management app out there, hands down. Give it a try, and you'll see what I mean!
Suggestion
It would be nice if the app could be adapted to the iPad’s screen ratio.
By far the best app ever
This app has literally changed my life. I record my thoughts. I take a meeting loan notes. I record the freaking rainfall and jot down moments when I bump into neighbors and I can’t believe how freaking easy and useful this is. With whisper is awesome.
This app might end your note-taking app search
If you are anything like me you’ve tried a ton of note-taking apps, likely because they all have some sort of friction when it comes to quickly capturing thoughts, ideas, etc. Reflect effectively removes friction from note-taking, making it a joy to use. They also constantly add value by sharing tips and tricks on Twitter and YouTube for getting the most out of their app. I ❤️ this tool.
V1
This just launched onto the App Store. New user here on both desktop + mobile giving it a shot. Have tried a lot of other options (Routine, Craft, Obsidian, etc.) and hoping this is the one that sticks. Looks promising so far though.
Love the mic option + lock screen widget. Plus the UI looks sleek. We’ll see how it goes over time.
The BEST note taking app
I’ve tried all the note apps— this is the best. Period.
Best for daily notes
Apple Notes is great but has some major flaws. For example, editing a note will *change* the date of the note. With the daily notes / calendar you can easily find when the note was written and what you were writing at the time.
Best for multiple devices / Backup
I use Reflect on multiple devices. Whether in the app or through a browser the notes update incredibly quickly and I’ve never lost a note like I have with Apple Notes.
Portability / Security
End to end encryption and JSON export gives me confidence trusting Reflect with my information
Unless you’re a nerd who just loves yak shaving, vim jumping around in your Monokai colored custom Obsidian, just use this. It’s simple, it’s opinionated, and it’s portable.
Reflecting on Reflect App
I’ve been using the Reflect.AI app since June 2023 on my iPhone, iPadPro, and MacBook Air. Absolutely love the app—especially the ChatGPT 4 Turbo AI and calendar integrations, customizable templates, browser extensions, back-links, tasks, audio notes, etc.,. And it keeps getting better. I use Reflect with other app integrations, including Readwise, Readwise Reader, and Snipd, all of which seamlessly sync highlights. Although I still use the Notability app for my hand-written (Apple pencil) notes, I can easily paste a link to specific notes into Reflect. The Reflect Academy website and tutorial videos on YouTube help get users up to speed quickly. Reflect serves as my daily base of operations. I highly recommend it!
My new favorite productivity app
After +10 years using Evernote I have been looking for a more evolved notes app. To me that means fast/easy back links, flexible AI tools, and better calendar sync. I started using the desktop version of Reflect about 4 months ago and love it so I was glad to see the mobile app released. Reflect also has basic but useful task management features and bonus, can transcribe live meetings.
So far I’ve also been impressed with the frequency of updates, support content they post on YT, and their communication.
For context, I also tried a bunch of other tools and focused mostly on Mem and Obsidian. But Mem removed some key tasks functions, calendar sync didn’t work, and no transcription option was available, and Obsidian was just too much work assemble all the same functionality Reflect offers out of the box.
Overall, I’ve been super happy with Reflect!
A solid, secure personal notes app
I love the team-focused productivity apps, but Reflect fits my personal needs with secure options and a great editing experience. Huge, huge fan 😍
