Could be amazing

Needs a recording feature! I much prefer the iOS app to the desktop version for quick and easy DJing on the fly. But it desperately needs a feature to record your live mixing as a WAV file. Screen recording takes up too much space and audio quality is low.

Constant freezing and crashing

iPhone 15, iOS 17.4.1 Fresh install of Rekordbox. Launch as the only app after a phone reboot. Freezes up when changing screen orientation, becomes unresponsive, GUI in the wrong place on the screen, then crashes randomly. Currently unusable.

Avoid - covert charging

I assumed this was an added benefit of my new xdj-rx3, the app is very basic, so a nice freebie. Then I found myself at a friends house and an opportunity to do a little set. Started a mix, then after 15-20 mins the music abruptly stopped and a message appeared to pay subscription to carry on! This is a really flawed idea - firstly, most DJs are not going to be using the app to DJ, but it’s a nice-to-have if the occasion arises, and if they do want to use an app there are lots of better alternatives. The Rekordbox app is very basic, and mixing is limited. I’d be surprised they have many subscribers so should provide it free.

Stopped working

Stopped working on iPhone 11 max ( 512gb) 3 days ago. Never had any issues , always worked, someone help ☹️

I’ve been doing for nearly 30 years and take my word as iOS app this is right up there 🤩🤩😇

Whole lot of disappointing

First off, I couldn’t see anything in the Rekordbox website that makes it clear that you will be charged to use the iOS app - a lovely surprise to then find out (after a ‘basically do it by trial and error’ set up of the Rekordbox service first off - which is not cheap itself) that you need to pony up an extra £6.99 a month *just to use the iOS app* If the app was worth it, I probably wouldn’t mind so much. But it really is a poor experience using it on a nice big iPad Pro - it clearly isn’t designed to take advantage of the size and visuals possible on it. It looks and feels very clunky, not joined up, and basically no help hat I could see on the app. And then the buggy cloud library sync…oh dear… If you are considering getting this, research this and Rekordbox carefully. It might be a great fit for you - or not.

Bring back the old app which actually worked via the standard usb

Buggy, literally cannot play

Cloud library sync is not syncing, the exit button from the settings menu will just freeze, no songs will play anymore it just freezes, and the auto upload to cloud will freeze the app too. So there is literally nothing I can use it for… and I paid for all the extra features such creative plan, cloud option and 2tb Dropbox plus… this all cost me money monthly for the outcome to be an app that just freezes on every essential function. And I can’t reach any staff member about this for help!

Want to use it but…

Really like the app and want to jump to this from Djay but until it has Beatport/Beatsource etc it’s a non starter…
