Awesome app!
Once you get to know how to navigate the app, it seems pretty good
With my career winding down it’s nice to have the flexibility to work when I want to work. No more forced dispatch. I’ve been driving for the same customer for a few months now and they ask me where I want to go, how long do I want to stay out, and if the pay works for me. Good luck trying that with another carrier. I’m surprised this hasn’t caught on as well in other states because Relay is a really good idea long overdue.
Do not waste your time on these jokers. if you already have your medical card, they want you to pay for another drug screen. They should pay for it if they want it. Typical w2 going rate for a local CDL driver is now 32-37$ PH and going up close to $50. That is w2 rate. For 1099, add 35% to that hourly rate. These are scam artists and if you have any worth, avoid it.
Downloaded this looking for extra work on weekends and was able to get it.
I believe this app was primarily built for carriers, prioritizing their needs and operations, rather than focusing on drivers. The heavy regulations and limitations on drivers raise concerns about the app's driver-friendly nature. It appears that the platform restricts drivers from expressing their concerns and communicating with colleagues, potentially suppressing meaningful discussions. Additionally, the owner's behavior of deleting comments they disagree with can further hinder open dialogue. While the app may enable drivers to perform tasks, it seems to lack a platform for them to bring about change or advocate for their best interests. Drivers only ask for fairness, honesty, and the opportunity to voice their needs, which should not be dismissed or ignored. Ultimately, it is crucial to address these issues and create an inclusive platform that values and supports both carriers and drivers equally. Ensuring drivers are valued stakeholders in the process.
I went through the entire process of signing up. I sent multiple messages and emails asking how many years of experience do they require? No one ever replied. I have no clue what happened with my application or the process it just stopped. I asked for help again no response the concept seems great but if they’re not helpful and getting drivers in what’s the point?
I love everything about it except they should have an electronic Log installed within the app so we can take a 30minute lunch and manage our HOS. also not sure if ill see higher paying jobs in the future but as a new relay driver some Rates are really low.
Relay is an amazing way to find local runs
These people told me I don’t have enough experience. I’ve been driving for 10 years on my own trucks. This is just a way to get your information!
