Escoges la estación y te vuelve a pedir que la introduzcas… asi constantemente y no puedes avanzar. Una vergüenza que Renfe tenga una app tan mala y ridícula. Una vergüenza.
Total crap
Today I bought a ticket on the app, Ida y vuelta. Why on earth would I have to provide my passport number? I didn’t have a Spanish ID as I am a tourist and the passport in in the hotel safe. when I tried to use the QR at the turnstile, it didn’t work. turns out it was good for yesterday. How is this even technically possible? So I bought a second ticket. Again, the QR code didn’t work although the date was correct. Somebody from staff told me to go to a ticket machine, enter the code and print the ticket. Why print a ticket when you have a digital ticket? It didn’t work, I didn’t get a printed ticket. Staff let me through the turnstile. On board of the train there was a ticket control and again the QR code didn’t work, but as I showed the Email as prove that I had paid twice, it got accepted
Muy dificil
instalar esta aplicación fue extremadamente difícil. Tuve que apagarlo y encenderlo varias veces para pasar de un paso al siguiente. No podíamos salir del terminal de la estación principal de Cádiz porque no se podía abrir la barrera con el código QR de la app. un empleado que estaba presente tuvo que abrir la barrera manualmente. lo mismo sucedió al regresar a la estación. solo que fue mucho más difícil: no había ningún empleado amable a lo largo y ancho y la gente de la taquilla no se declaró responsable. Conclusión: la aplicación está lejos de ser apropiada para el hermoso tranvía nuevo.
Horrible!
RENFE is a great company, yet all of its apps are a usability nightmare, besides not working most of the time. Translations are bad, too. And why so many apps??? One well made one should cover all usage scenarios! Timetables, ticketing, whatever.
Cannot buy tickets
With the app you’re not able to but tickets. You have to register and open up an account to buy them, which is fine, but when you try to register the error message “invalid phone number format” pops up. I tried to enter my phone number in many different versions but it did not work. I am only giving one star since at least it shows you the train connections and the prices for the tickets ^^
Service is not available
On iPad and iPhone I geht only the error message „service is not available“. App is not working!
wrong train all the time
- The app can only allow you to enter your station, or the station near you, to another station which you must know the name of the destination station. You must spend lot of time to figure which station near you or the station you are at, otherwise the app will indicate that you have entered invalid destination. - The app does not tell you in which platform you need to stand or the direction of the train. You will easily be confused between the platforms. You may be in the right station but end up in another direction. Hola! - The app only displays trains, not bus, not metro, so how you get to the right station is depend on you and your google map app.
