Description

RenoPlan helps anyone -- whether home contractors, interior designers, sales reps, architects, DIYers -- to quickly and accurately measure residential homes or office buildings to create floor plans and project estimates. The app can handle just about measuring jobs, like room drawings, doors, windows, kitchen countertops/cabinets, tubs, and showers.
RenoPlan makes it easy for your renovation, remodeling and restoration projects. As you create your plan, the app automatically calculates floor, wall areas and perimeters of room areas so as to estimate product usages. This can mean big savings for your projects.
It is handy to create estimates and invoices with attached floor plan diagrams and photos, so professionals like contractors can win a job and get client signatures on the spot. And when the job is done, send an invoice to the client to get paid faster.
RenoPlan leverages your device's powerful AR (ARKit) and LiDAR capabilities to measure room in seconds, which will be very handy in the accuracy-insensitive scenarios.
For professional projects, RenoPlan is integrated with Leica Disto, Bosch, and DeWalt laser meters, capable of measuring room quickly and accurately. With the app, you can also markup and attach site measurements and photos, which can be included in a professional report.
Supported laser models:
- Leica Disto D1, D2, E7100i
- Bosch GLM 50C, 100C, 120C, 150C, 400C, 400CL
- DeWALT DW099S, DW0165S, DW0330S
- Moasure One (New)

Can't do anything on free version

Can’t Use Hide My Email

w00d on

United States

1. The app requires you to make an account to try even basic features. 2. The app doesn’t seem to accept addresses generated by Hide My Email. This means giving someone my real email to see if an app is even worth my time. Nah. I’ll try again with a different email but I’m not hopeful. Developers: I am totally cool buying an app. I’m also cool with in-app purchases. What I won’t abide is an app that is functionally useless in its “free” evaluation period. Especially when it demands my personal information before I know if the app is even one I want to use.

$9.99 plus tax - wasted

Need to have quote and invoice functions

It will be handy to create an estimate after drawing the floor plan, get a customer to sign the quote on site, then turn it into an invoice when the job is completed. Has been using this app for a while, a nice light weight edition of its MeasureSquare Mobile that works for contractors.

Still the best basic 2-D floor plan

I like this floor diagramming effort workflow of setting up this floor. Did my entire house floor plan in less than 4 hours using tape measure with this app. Also like the DXF export that is very useful in other app. A great starter app. Has a fun 3-D but very-simpl3 viewer.

The best drafting app out there

I have tried using several apps to create a simple floor plan to scale for energy modeling and this has been the best by far. Very easy to learn and has great accuracy when calculating sqft and volume. The time saved makes is easily worth the money.

Very satisfied

I am a mitigation technician at a small company, so when I enter homes I have to do a detailed “sketch” of the affected areas. Plus the free version works flawlessly.

Fairly intuitive

Compared to a lot of other apps, this one is very accessible. It also doesn’t set you up for a subscription just to learn the ropes. It’s been very useful for my small plan as a homeowner.

Very meh

This app has some cool features, but it’s biggest “bug” is that they think that being able to export a dxf file is worth $10.00 a month. It isn’t. In most real programs (not apps), this is a simple File, save as… function. Worth a one time $10? Sure! But $120 a year? No. Not even close. Might be worth it if you are a full time contractor. If you are a DIYer, maybe you want to drive on by. Not worth it for me.

Very capable app

Just using the free version. Surprising how many useful features are available. Just figuring out new apartment floor - won’t need full pro version. Def worth giving the free version a go.
