Rep Up for Watch Reviews

Pretty good

Tracks nice, misses some reps but overall love it

Didn’t work.

Sorry. But the app didn’t work well. It didn’t tap me and it did not pass a count of 4.

Won’t unlock on my watch.

I downloaded this for my Apple Watch and says to “open the iPhone app and tap here”. I’ve tapped with my finger and with the phone itself and nothing will unlock the app on my watch. I handed no orders why the so that counts reps needs to be locked at all, but for this reason, I haven’t been able to try it. As far as I know, it doesn’t work.

Great start! But this feature is needed!

I love how this app says what it can do and does it well. Some weight exercises work better than others for this app, and there are times it over counts or under counts. But for the most part it’s pretty accurate. There’s this one element I wish the developers would add to make this the ultimate weight rep app, and that would be to add a customizable interval timer that vibrates when it’s time for the next rep set. Accurate rep time matters in weight training as it accounts for whether you're aiming to develop muscle strength, hypertrophy, or strength endurance. Even better would be an alert/vibration for when your heart rate drops 60% of your maximum heart rate, as that’s even more accurate (but probably harder to implement) to measure time between sets. Anyway, those are my suggestions! Thank you for making this app, as I enjoy it developers! Best, A personal trainer in training.

Poor for jump rope counting

GameDaMuse on

Did a poor job with jump rope counting. I was quite hopeful this would work but many times it simply doesn’t even detect there pattern and doesn’t count even after 50 jumps. I have to deliberately move my wrist a lot more for it to register but that affects my form. I hope this can be improved.

Rep up issues...

So I downloaded this app because I enjoy exercising and wanted something to track my reps without having to count in my head.... Yes I know, techno convenience... Well, when I do push-ups and the app enabled on my Apple Watch series 4 it doesn’t count all my reps... also, it should have a function where it vibrates on every rep so that you will know if it doesn’t count one on your reps. The options available are tap me (every, or once) “5”. The idea of the app is great, but I would be better if it actually worked properly. Also, it would be nice for it to actually record how many reps you did... on the watch/ phone and the end workout data when you look in your workout app amongst calories burned etc. running apps track how far you run, why doesn’t this give you a final count as to how many you completed?

2 stars for effort

App disappeared from watch after last update

RRock21 on

Love the app but it disappeared from my watch after their last update, and I can’t seem to get it back. Update: As a follow up to my earlier post. The developer reached out and advise to delete then reinstall the app. Works perfectly now!

Records Erroneous Exercise Minutes

DMFMDJD on

United States

The app kept opening up automatically over and over on my Apple Watch recording hundreds of exercise minutes erroneously. I kept force quitting the app, force quitting my phone, force quitting the watch but nothing would stop the rep counter from opening right back up. Deleted the app from my phone and watch. Good idea but bad execution.

would be awesome

would be a great app if it worked for apple watch series 5 :/
