no font size options for the feed?

overall it’s okay but has simple zero features except for saving articles for reading later.

App comes back from death

I eliminated the App some months ago, and it keeps coming back every time I turn off my cell phone or run out of battery like some zombie or virus.

Wow!

Revolutionary!! Best way to keep track of all your academic interests. Suggestion: Include RSS add option.

Love it, but still needs a bit more

I like the layout and how accessible everything is. But it really does need a tab for “read” papers. It has a section for papers viewed, but I would like to have the option to “check-off” a paper I’ve read. Then, when I need to reference it, I can easily find it in this shortlist of papers I’ve read, instead of the log list of many papers I’ve viewed but didn’t read more Han the abstract

Efficient

This is great for accessing a wide range of quality material on a particular subject quickly.

Great Idea, Needs work.

I love this idea, would be very helpful for research but is missing quite a few journals. Would be great if I could follow academics like I can follow journals so I can see if an academic in my field has published something new. Seeing historical publications as well. Would help if I could login in via my library credentials and be able to access the journals automatically ( I see I have access to some journals right away? Not sure how I can legally do that...)

You don’t have a single journal from my field.

This app doesn’t have a single journal from my field, Translation Studies. Everything is lumped together. Scholarly research is extremely specialized; it’s not because you have journals in Linguistics or Language that they will be relevant to me. I had to delete the app as soon as I downloaded it as I couldn’t add any journal to my profile.

Not what I need as a researcher

In 2019, I need an app that can display tables of contents for journals relevant to me. My usual approach is to have tables of contents emailed to me, and then I click on articles I am interested in. I was hoping this app would do the same thing but with all my journals in one place. Instead, this app, using a keyword or author-based approach, shows me abstract after abstract, without any cohesion between subsequent articles. I therefore don’t know what articles I might have missed. Unless I am somehow missing the option to pick a journal, say, JAMA, and view the articles as they were presented in the paper journal according to its table of contents, this app is of no help to me.

Great application

Just wanted a “select all” option for subjects and journals or a better way to select specific topics.

Original comment: In the current security/privacy context, this app needs a sign-in other than Facebook/Google, or Twitter if that were added. I keep a mailbox just for sign-in purposes and use different passwords for each service. I need to be able to do that with your app. Until I can do this I can’t assess the value of your offering, so I have assigned three stars as a neutral comment. More will come if you let me in more privately. Update Thank you for updating the app to allow the additional email/password sign-in option. I have now signed in and begun looking at the content of your app. Looks really good in areas that interest me. I suspect I will be using this a lot. I have increased my rating to five.
