The Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) Resilience, Sustainable Energy and Marine Biodiversity Programme (RESEMBID) started operations on January 1, 2019.It is being implemented over 58 months by Expertise France with funding from the European Union, the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) and the World Bank.


The Programme supports the sustainable human development efforts of twelve (12) overseas Caribbean OCTs – Anguilla, Aruba, British Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Montserrat, Saba, Sint Barthelemy, Sint Eustatius, Sint Martin and the Turks and Caicos Islands.


The Programme focuses on three main thematic areas and the relevant objectives: Marine Biodiversity, Resilience, Sustainable Energy.
