Rest – HTTP API Client

The duplication of requests, missed by Gerrit 3 years ago, now is implemented for duplication inside a project. :-) The tool is well designed and in general easy to use. It is synchronizing with other iOS devices (at least when app is installed). Copy and paste to other project is not possible - this makes it hard to split a large grown project because the requests must be recreated. My wishes: * Project export into file (there exists already import) - this would allow project splitting too. * Non edit mode to avoid opening requests before they can be executed. * Some syntax check assistance would be nice: JSON syntax error is reported but not reason and position. * Content type check also would be nice: if I use a JSON body, content type must be application/json; charset=utf-8 or similar. This makes it easier to understand error 500 internal server error.

Grundsätzlich kann man schnell Requests erstellen. Nur eine wichtige Funktion wie Variablen ist nur über In-App Kauf möglich. Das macht das Tool leider unbrauchbar. Ein Begrenzung von z.B. 10 Variablen zum Testen wäre hilfreich. So kann man die App nicht nutzen.

Works great, i have like 20ms response time to my local Rasperry Pi. I think it’s totally worth to unlock the features, especially to support the developer. I use it daily for my Shortcuts to controll Audio system and Home automations. Can fully recommend!

Pros: well done from UI perspective. Clear and intuitive usage. JSON query support. JSON structure view, where you can navigate keys and list items as tree. Cons: desperately missing central credential management or at least giving variables in Basic Auth. Desperately missing environments with different variable values. In a URL, keyboard doesn’t show {{}} signs although that would be needed to enter a variable. Disappointed because I bought the Pro to use variables (esp. for authentication, also in different environments) and then it didn’t work and I can’t use this app. ☹️

... I couldn't figure out if/how a POST request with file upload from the file app works. Keep up the great work!

Use the app on a daily base to check different webservices and I just can recommend it. Did not find an issue tracker so I place my requests here (sorry). 1. It would be great if one could duplicate a request. 2. It looks like the json response is not in the order it was send, would be nice to have it in the order it‘s delivered. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

Endlich ein Tool welches auf einem IOS Device dem Klassiker Postman das Wasser reichen kann. Schön wären noch ein paar Auth-Methoden aber das kann ja noch kommen. Danke für dieses nützliche Tool.

Can’t really explain it, but the workflow feels clunky. Importing, adding variables then sending a request just doesn’t flow. The UI also cuts off characters so you can’t really find the section you’re looking for. At 4.99 it works, but I’m def looking for another
