Retro is a weekly photo journal that (1) brings you closer to the people you actually care about and (2) helps you appreciate your own life - all without hijacking your time and attention.

Love it

It’s what a photo sharing app should be. Simple, quick and focuses on what’s important: my favourite photos of each week that I want to share with close friends and family. Love it

A breath of fresh air

I’m so tired of social feeds of stuff I don’t want, constant adverts, abuse and hostility. This app is the remedy, a joy to open and use, it shows you a gentle feed of images from people you actually know, that’s it, it’s built well with good design. I just hope it catches on and I’m also hoping the developers build a text focused app as an alternative to X/Twitter and Threads.
