Reveri Reviews

App’s expensive as heck and offers very little content even with subscription. You find better stuff free on Youtube or Audible (if you have subscription) Not a fan of the narrator’s voice and speed, it’s downright impossible for me to listen to him, he’s so monotonous and uses so many unnecessary words. He’ll often ask you to imagine something then he continues talking before you have the chance to imagine anything. Like “imagine the place you last felt great” can you imagine it in 5 seconds? No? Too bad! There’s a feature to interact with the audio by voice but it seems to do nothing at all except to tell the app when to resume.

Exceptional science-based application

Exceptional application, based on science developed by dr. David Spiegel, a first rate scientist. It helped me a lot with my waking in the middle of the night - after doing the sleep exercise I'm able to fall asleep again in 5-10 minutes. It also has a lot more exercises: eating well, quiting smoking, enhancing your focus etc. I hope this app gets noticed more and more, it's a science-based tool which will improve greatly your life and well-being.

Awesome app!

This app really helps you to fall asleep faster and enhance your focus if used everyday!

Can’t Cancel *Update*

*Update* I emailed customer support and they replied within 12 hours. They answered the issue and with that one email cancelled my account! Very professional and swift. **** There is absolutely no information on the app as to which card is being charged and very difficult to cancel.

Almost There… Not Quite Worth the Money

I did the one year student trial after hearing about it on Huberman lab, and there were times this app helped me. I found it nice to have as a quick tool when needing to refocus my scattered energy or try to wind down before sleep. But honestly, what’s offered gets old pretty quick, and though they try to target certain goals with specific meditations, to me they are just too basic… like they use the same tactics for each differently named goal. Idk but for me I was always disappointed feeling like the “reduce procrastination” meditation is the exact same as “reduce stress and anxiety from work”… just slightly different angles/wording. I wanted to be wowed and wasn’t. The self hypnosis never worked for me either. The hand lifting in the air is weird and keeps you from relaxing as fully I think. It’s a cool concept and it had its moments that came in handy for me but overall needs a lot of tidying up and refining I think before I’d ever use it again. Kinda feel like I got ripped off tbh!

Still in Trial

Can the developer please explain how to get the speech recognition to work. I click on the settings when prompted and it takes me to a place in settings that doesn’t deal with this function. When doing more searching on the speech recognition settings in the iPhone I go there but Reverie is not showing as an app that has asked permission and there isn’t just a toggle switch to enable this. Without this feature I have to open up my eyes to give responses during the sessions to look at the screen. Can someone please provide some clarity with this writing, otherwise I don’t see myself getting the benefit from this app I’m looking for.

Looked promising but there is hardly anything on it. I tried it and didn’t get it canceled on time. Now I’m out $100. Asked for a refund the day they charged me and was told no.

Good App

Great app for dealing with a variety of life challenges. The sessions are short and effective. One thing that would make this app even better is if you could access the Reveri App from the Apple Watch and have the Apple Watch speaker play the hypnosis track.

Feeling better

At the point in my pain and anxiety with stress, I’m willing to try anything and after one session I feel better and I also listened to NPR on the People’s pharmacy Saturday morning about this app and I immediately decided to get it
