Think it could be brilliant and perfect for me as I’m googling and jumping between thoughts a lot. However, it just constantly crashes now, I’ve checked my phone settings and they’re all permitting, you’re a little difficult to get hold of online.
Needs further optimisations.
Love the app in principle. However, it would benefit from further optimisation. After only a couple of weeks, and despite considering myself not to be a heavy web user, the app is using 600mb of storage. The app could also use a better way of navigation to specific days.
Not ready for release
Takes up over 20mb after a few days / week and crashes anytime I try to search. Despite giving it a chance with an update etc
Unexpected essential
Rewind.ai is an app I didn't know I needed until I tried it. The ability to search through my screenshots and my Safari activity has been more helpful than I initially thought. It's fast, smooth and accurate. It's a super convenient way to recall information my daily life, both at work and personally. It's become an essential tool for me, and I highly recommend giving it a go.
Don’t get the idea of mimic the existing iOS functionality
1. iOS search within screenshots finds every word; indeed, the App doesn’t see the same
words, unfortunately.
2. Safari History search was also duplicated but again didn’t work properly.
Q: What are the use cases for the app? Search through one app instead of two + chat GPT?
Probably needs more development before the public.
