Yes, Ride Circuit is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Ride Circuit legit?
⚠️ Warning: Multiple users of Ride Circuit have mentioned scam or fraud. Investigate thoroughly before using this app.
Pretty terrible app and interface. Tried to use this app to get from a city park to city hall. Pickup time 18 mins. Okay, that’s fine, I can stay busy for 15-20 mins. Then the app honks at you, letting you know its updated and now your ride is in 3 mins. Okay, drop everything go get ready for your ride. Oops, 12 mins now, no need to rush. No wait, 1 minute, get ready to watch the vehicle icon on the map go right past (2 blocks east) you. Now watch the vehicle icon drive away from you while the pickup time stays at 1 minute. Now it’s been 20 minutes since you requested a ride, the vehicle icon isn’t moving, it’s a mile away, it says pickup in 1 minute, when you know it’s at least 5 mins away.
Time to cancel your ride and delete this app. Worthless.
Challenges in the execution
The app is easy to navigate and execute basic functions like changing passwords and locations. However it’s missing some follow on functions. Like if a location is closed how do you discover the hours? You can’t exit out of rating a prior ride even if that ride was 4+ years ago—talk about forced contribution and inaccurate ratings.

Nice drivers great idea for a local transit but every time I order one I wait 30 minutes just to have it cancel.

Driver is rude
At first the driver didn’t pick me up for an hour, then he arrived in a bad mood and when I asked why, he shouted for me for so long to get out because it was faster for me to walk. I had to stand in the heat for an hour after surgery on my leg, and now you send me a violation!? outrageous! first look at my ticket dated 05.17.24, after which she is trying to justify herself. and look at its route in the system. after my order, she stood for half an hour, perhaps had lunch, then drove in a different direction. where can I get feedback, what measures were taken to Natalie after my appeal, Hollywood, Florida

I’m getting spammed non stop with scammers and ads after registering my number in the app. They are 100% selling your information to shady and unscrupulous actors. Make sure you use a throw away number when you register!
Car not needed
This is absolutely the best thing in Fort Lauderdale. Don’t rent a car, it is a waste. The service is prompt and easy to use. Free of charge, but please tip the amazing drivers.
