Great app to track my rides.
I’m trying to progress my mountain biking skills for races and this is really helpful.
I found trails in my neighborhood that I didn’t know existed
I immediately got 67 steez upon downloading this app
Good app but if you start it on your watch it dose not save to your phone so when you finish a ride and you want to see what you got you can’t Jack
Started mountain biking recently and this app is great for finding new trails that I’ve never heard of before, highly recommend
Helped me track me and my friends rides and see new trails in my area!
I havent paid for the pro version but from the free version i feel it has what im looking for. I took 3 ride s with the app, one thing I noticed is that the elevation is off because i recored a ride with this and strava in the background and Ridepal said 45ft of elevation and Strava said 300ft it did this on all three rides. Everything else seems to work fine. I do like the trail maps too and the interface while riding is nice too.
The recent update makes this have the most trails of anyone, and with the ability for users to add trails, it’s getting even better!! For those with issues with ride tracking - Just make sure you give the app permission to run in background and it works great!!
After using the app for a few rides I’ve discovered it’s pretty much useless for the free version. You can only see distance, elevation, top speed, and ride time. The add a trail feature is buggy and didn’t let me add my local trails, not to mention the inconsistent gps tracking compared to most other apps. Like in my original review the app doesn’t support syncing to Strava, and this is extremely disappointing. Last point is that as someone who pays for Trail-forks, I feel better about my purchase knowing it supports my trails, it also gives me an outdoor plus subscription. I will check in every few months to see if there is any progress made but for the time being this app is not useable.
