They Don’t Give You A Full Month
I signed up for this in December. They had a “free trial”. For whatever reason it now locks me out every single month for the first number of days even though it takes my monthly payment. I’ve had someone look into this and have been told each month they know abt the issue and it’s being worked on. But here we’re are in May and yet again I’m locked out. It’s enraging and a ripoff. Fix it.
Crashing
As of 5/1/24 the app will not open. The Rifftrax logo appears then a black screen with a “something’s wrong” message and a useless “go home” button. Please fix ASAP.
A great start, but…
While this is shaping up to be the an excellent app for us Rifftrax aficionados, it has a tendency to crash when streaming over AirPlay.
Another medium to inject rifftrax into my veins
As a Patreon and Rifftrax Friends member, apparently I can’t get enough of Rifftrax. This app is much appreciated. I love the Picture in Picture capability. I am amazed at how perfectly the app runs right out of the gate.
Needs to be Optimized for iPad
I agree with the previous reviewer. The app is good for an initial release and it functions as expected, but it really needs landscape support and better res for the movie art. This feels like an iPhone app that’s been stretched out.
A good start!
FINALLY, a proper RiffTrax app for watching my library of movies! It works pretty well enough, although I’m hoping for an update to add missing features like landscape support, picture-in-picture and higher resolution art for all the movies. Keep up the riffing!
