Riichi Mahjong Hand Calculator

Dev/Devs threw as many ads into the space as they could. Normally, ads wouldn’t be a huge issue for a free app if I could pay to disable them, or they at least relegate themselves to a small area. I assume there is an option to pay to remove ads in the settings screen however, it appears settings for this app is broken (or at least, doesn’t function on iPhone 12 Pro Max). If the app were well built or polished I might be able to recommend it, but as it stands it’s broken, littered with ads that cannot even be removed via a donation, and rather garishly designed.

I use this app to calculate and works pretty well. There doesn’t seem to be a way to calculate for double riichi though.

When calculating certain super rare hands such as 13 orphans, the app crashes and forced me to use web browser options. Also, removing some tiles is surprisingly annoying due to the single undo method of fix g changes.

Incredible Calculator for beginners to get the feel for what a hand is worth, or for pros to check their math. Great work!
