When we read about the Road to Hana we new we wanted to see all the highlights. This app was fantastic as it was really like having your own tour guide. The key stops were highlighted in advance, lots of snippets were shared and the gps made our journey hassle free.

This app is superb and I would even say a must have if you’re doing the road to Hana. The narrator is incredibly informative, almost like you have a tour guide in the car. The instructions and guidance he gives along the route is fantastic and helps to choose your destinations as there is ALOT to see. The only reason I mark it 4 star is the app needs a bit of personalisation, eg. choosing the type of sights you’d like to see. Otherwise amazing app, very very recommended.

If you’re driving to Hana this is THE app to get! No data roaming needed... and it always tells you (in great detail!) what’s coming up well before you get there so you can decide to stop or keep driving. My only suggestion would be to let you run the trip in reverse. The history of Hawaii commentary was interesting, but we skipped a lot of the stops on our way to Hana because we wanted to do them on the way back - but the app wasn’t helpful for that unless we moved into manual mode.

We took the trip yesterday and the App worked perfectly. The information was spot on. So much easier than referring to a guide book, no worrying about if you had missed a turn or a point of interest-the App keeps you informed all the way. I liked the commentary too - and thought warmed to narrator - like having a knowledgable friend in the back seat!

We from the uk. We’re slightly worried about driving in the US. Had planned to use google navigation but were suggested this from or rental car company. We were dubious to pay and download, but honestly this app, hints, navigation, description and history made our journey! I could not recommend more. Happy Hana.

We really enjoyed the tour. I was sceptical before we started but it works flawlessly and really made the journey more interesting. It also helps by suggesting places to stop, and more importantly those to avoid. The history of Hawaii on the return leg was good too. It also plays over music and turns it down when the talking starts. We played Hawaiian music while we drive which helped the vibe.

If you are driving the road to Hana, this app is a very worthwhile. The commentary on the places which you pass is interesting and informative. Very helpfully it also tells you what NOT to see or do, thereby saving time for the really best parts of the trip. For the return journey there is commentary on the history of Hawaii. Again, this is done very professionally and informatively. The commentator's own personal views come also across at times, which I thought made it more engaging.

Used this on our first trip to Maui - was skeptics at first but it was great - enough information to be useful without being irritating. Well worth the price

This app was awesome! Use a lightening cable to connect it to your rental car and the audio plays throughout the car without using any data all the way to Hana and back again. The tour guide's voice is great and he's funny too! The app enabled us to have our best day in Maui during our honeymoon on the island. Highly recommend!
