Such a Shame

So annoyed I didn’t read the review before!! I was just so excited I could get Roald D’s books as an audio for my kids I just went straight to download and purchased a book only to not be able to play it all 😞

Totally ripped off and sadly disappointed with my favourite publishers.

I was thrilled to be able to download this app as I have always loved Roald Dahl's books. I was extremely delighted to be able to have off-line access to these books, and in 2016 I bought the lot for Christmas, hoping I would be able to read them as often as I wanted to. Well sadly I can no longer read the books because I just set up a new iPhone and reinstalled the app. although the audio books show up in my purchase list I cannot download them for off-line use, which is quite frankly why I spent over $150 NZ for this collection. As there is no way to contact the app's developer within the app, I had no choice other than to write this review as I would hate for others to waste all this money by falling into the same trap. I like the fact that I have supported Roald Dahl's charities, but as if you as the developer and publisher can't make an effort to maintain this app, you have used a very sinister way of gaining money for the charity support.

WASTE OF MONEY - AVOID!

I dowloaded this app to listen to audiobooks during a 16 hour flight. I tried to download a few books before the flight left, but wasn't able to connect properly to the server, so got nothing. I tried again in while on a road trip in the next country but found this app only seemed to download one chapter at a time; useless when you're driving in and out of mobile coverage. And the app is quite expensive compared to others....it's really a rip off.

Wasted money

Purchased a book in-app. However this app crashed my phone numerous times so I have deleted it. Money wasted.
