Roaster Notes on iPhone
Look, is this on par with artisan? Absolutely not. Is this the best app available for roasting? I’m not actually sure, but it’s the best I’ve been able to find on the iPhone so far. What you have is a little clunky here. I have to rapid rap the + or - button to adjust the temperature to log it. One improvement could be to give us a box to manually type in the temperatures, and maybe even a slider to quickly swipe along to raise the numbers. But I hate writing in a log book. I hate flipping through the pages to find the notes I’m looking for. This app helps with that. Another upgrade that would be lovely, is if you could add a feature that automatically creates a graph from the data we input into the app. But that’s asking a lot. There’s plenty left to be desired. But this app IS a resource that I appreciate. The one 1 star review feels unfair. I am not giving a 4 star rating because the app deserves four stars yet, but because it definitely doesn’t deserve to be so heavily panned as it was by the one other reviewer. Devs: please consider improving on this app. Please consider adding what I’ve mentioned. But if not, thank you for your contribution all the same. Please keep the app around, for I will happily be using it for a good while.
