Rock Identifier & Stena Guide Reviews
Worthless
Tested the app on a few gems I’m certain of just to see if it works. The app can’t recognise obvious gems like garnets, emeralds and rubies, and suggested kinds that are way different mostly. It’s like it’s only guessing most of the time. I wouldn’t pay a cent for it.
Potential but limited
It is user friendly, but not as accurate as one would like. It also has no correction options when you know what it is and the app is wrong. An adapting or learning process to strengthen your product would definitely be a benefit to this app. It has limited photos as well. An example would be the many many different types of jasper or the multiple agates that are available but only two photos in the app is discouraging.

Bro
Terrible. It only has certain stones in data base. Couldn’t read turquoise, authentic or replica.
Ehh
Don’t like it nothing like the add or bio LIKE HELLO get something else k please don’t buy it asks to buy stuff 24/7
And loading takes forever
Ever seen
Best that I’ve ever seen in my whole life
NOPE!
Scanned a plain river rock and it told me it was topaz
Awful
The pictures I take look nothing like it matches that get pulled up on this app. I mean even a small child at the age of four could look at the picture that I take and look at what this app is telling me that the stone is and say that that’s not the same stone, this is worst identifying app I’ve ever had in my life!
Unsure
So far I’m not sure whether or not I like this app.it has gotten a few of my easily identified well known stones completely wrong. I am using the free version and not convinced I’m getting the paid version
It’s ok….
I don’t like how un accurate it is. I will put a rock under it and it will say it’s worth 100-600 dollars it still asked for money it’s ok but wouldn’t really recommend
