Construction Measurements

Published by: REEKON Tools

Description

The ROCK Jobsite App is the next generation construction calculator that covers all of your jobsite needs. Integrated cut lists, automatic measurement sharing, PDF markups, more than 50 construction calculators, integrated fractional calculator, and more make the ROCK App the standard in construction. Sharable with anyone with all data saved and backed up to cloud. Works with all english and metric units.
**MEASUREMENT LISTS**
Create measurements lists, organize by project, and labels. See when measurements were created, completed, by who, and where. Manually create measurements in any english or metric units or import automatically from connected REEKON Tools. Measurements can be organized and used as part of calculations in a wide range of construction utilities. Mark miter cuts in each measurement.
**ANNOTATIONS**
Take photos, sketch over, and drag and drop measurements anywhere on canvas. Easy to mark up and draw shapes and notes. Annotate over any PDF, image file, or SVG. Pinch to zoom and add vectorized markups anywhere on the canvas.
**CONSTRUCTION CALCULATORS**
Construction calculators for every trade, updated monthly. Use captured measurements to fill in inputs overlayed on intuitive graphic displays. Trades and types of calculators range from areas, volumes, stairs, roofs, electrical, HVAC, sheet metal, plumbing, framing, finish carpentry, hardscaping, landscaping, concrete, material estimation, and more.
**CUSTOM CALCULATORS**
Make your own calculator using dynamic input and output fields and make available for anyone on your team to use. Create templates for structured inputs, custom calculations, and diagrams. Templates can be shared with anyone to ensure data is collected in a structured and defined manner. Make multiple tabs to correlate with multiple different instances of using a template for later review
**REEKON TOOLS INTEGRATION**
Works seamlessly with REEKON Tools Hardware products for automatic measurement capture and saving from the T1 Tomahawk Digital Tape Measure. Use as a cutlist companion for the M1 Caliber and print labels directly through the P1-L Tagger Construction Printer.
**CONVERSIONS**
Convert a variety of units easily and quickly including lengths, areas, volumes, mass, temperature, force, pressure, angles, energy, time, and more. Save outputs to review later.
**FRACTIONAL CALCULATOR**
Perform math operations in fractional format and easily use existing measurements as part of calculations. Easily switch between fractional entry, normal entry, and existing measurements. See entire strings of numbers to view the entire equation at once and save output as new measurement.
**PDFS, NOTES, OUTPUTS, PHOTOS, AND MORE**
Whether you are taking a picture, making a note, organizing documents, or saving a calculation, objects make it easy to access and reference with anyone. Organize by location and relevance to jobsite arranged in a timeline.
**PROJECTS ORGANIZATION**
Organize your measurements and objects into Projects, Spaces, and Areas to match the physical layout of your jobsite.
**CONNECTED TOOLS**
Seamless integrates with REEKON hardware products including the T1 Tomahawk Digital Tape Measure for capturing measurements and P1L Tagger Construction printer to print out QR code enabled labels. Several third party laser range finders and other measuring devices are being added actively as well.
**LABELING**
Automatically generate text and QR code labels for measurements, locations, issues, notes, and other objects for printing. Custom utility allows labels and QR codes to be made for any web URL.
**SHARING**
Share all data and collaborate in real time between other mobile devices and tablets. Real time measurement sharing allows for measurements to be captured on one side of the jobsite while being cut on the other side. All data is cloud synchronized and saved.

This will definitely be my go-to measuring device for on now… I will be definitely freeing up space in my toolbox… Thanks guys for this awesome tool! I will be purchasing another T1 real soon so I can have it in multiple toolboxes…. Sarge Acworth, Ga

Just got my label printer. Thought I would be able to print a QR code and attach a pdf to it. Are you telling me I have to have all my customers download your app to view the pdf?

Not Impressed

Very good surprise to get the P1 Tagger today! Knew it was shipping but wasn’t like Amazon in terms of an update when it was en-route. Not pleased, however, that custom labels can’t be made with text…the entire reason why I purchase the printer in the first place. Trying to use the tools within the app don’t work and there is no ability to customize any sort of label. Will update review if support is provided but first impression is not what I hoped.

Got printer, labels pre-installed - Backwards!! Thankfully, I am smarter than their QA / assembly people and instantly knew how the printer works, and knew the hot thermal print engine can't be on the movable part.. Speaking of which, the button to open the printer is the single worst design for a button I've encountered in about 60 years... So weak and flimsy I KNOW it will be broken after about the 3rd roll of labels... But, that isn't the app... So... About the app... Inital response and impression... Continue as guest... (Obviously you can use everything on the printer without an account right? What idiot would design it so you needed an account or internet (on a job site??) OK, tried to print a label, it asks me to login, I say skip for now... Back to print screen.. Hit print... Asks me to login.... I smash my phone and the printer with a 16 Lb sledgehammer... OK, only want to.. Nearly slammed the printer to the floor though! OK, I was doing a simple test QR code (one I might print a lot with this), and of course, I had to create an account, I used a 18 letter ransom password... Upper and lower case, no words used, No acronyms... Not good enough need a symbol... Whatever... 19 letters then... I had to start over on the label... After creating an account (not allowed to connect a printer without a stupid account!! Garbage...) OK, so got the stupid account setup, and then had to recreate the label again!!! (Save button at bottom didn't seem to save anywhere!) No, have to connect a device, and it won't connect from the print page! So I had to back out the the main page - it says to go to TOOLS menu, which for those people who know English, is called "Devices" NOT TOOLS, go there connect... Create the label from scratch for the 3rd time... It printed fine, except, it had the company name on the left side along with the title... Yeah, no, don't want that! Zero reason anyone would want that on EVERY label!!! NOT what I bought this for (to print their advertising? Sure, they just have to pay me $100/month for the ads being all over the place... OK, well, I hit the "edit" to edit the label and remove that (it is clearly a software issue... Can't remove it!) Well, at least the printed QR code is correct, and I could take sizzors and cut every label I print before I use them.. And I'd bet it didn't save this label again... Gee guys, thanks... And I don't want it saved to the cloud, having a backup of the phone gives me a full backup... No

As I move away from paper to digital I am delighted to better manage my time and projects. The easy display and feature rich app gives me many opportunities to incorporate efficiency into my work flow. The connected world is the way to go. I am happy not to lose “pieces of paper” or wonder if that was an “9” or a “6”. Well done Reekon!
