Been asking around for someone to make an app like this but nope its flooded with ai
Generative ai makes it a bit pointless now, im just waiting for someone to make an app primarily for art/animation content creators that also bans ai Like, I want to see actual creators and artists make stuff, im tired of low effort ai art polluting every app, using all the hashtags and taking over the feeds. They wont fix/remove it because it adds more content to their platform making it seem more active.
Can’t connect wallet
Onboarding is broken won’t connect needs better iOS development.
Missing settings. Rodeo earns
Missing settings- dark, 1 on 1 chat. Rodeo takes a 50% fee from each item you sell instead of charging a fee up front. This way they can keep taking. They also do a poor job in promoting small accounts that make great art but don’t have a large following. They bring in known artists and promote them(gaining 50% of their sales). Great place to learn the basics. But they quietly take your money
Rodeo brings me joy
Beautifully designed and easy to use, I love the daily art I discover on Rodeo! It also personally inspires me to create and offers a low stakes way for me to share my creativity with the world 🤩
I love scrolling again!
Rodeo is one of the only social apps that doesn’t immediately drain my soul. Posting feels good, and collecting is fun and rewarding, because you’re supporting likeminded creative people. The other day, a creator I had just discovered DM’d me, thanking me for my support. Can’t remember the last time anyone on social media did that! 🫶
Cool way to discover creators and build a collection
I collect a lot of physical items from creators that I like and Rodeo is the first time I feel like I can do that online in a super easy way. The quality of creators is great and I can see what other people are collecting so finding new creators is much easier to do compared to other apps.
Fun creative outlet
I’ve had a blast using Rodeo. It’s been really fun discovering new creators, supporting them financially, and making money all while exploring my creative side (both as an iPad illustrator and a collector). Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys feeling creative!
