I’ve had this service for about 6 months and it has been absolutely terrible . I try and schedule a payment with them for Friday and they are always causing me to go negative in my account because they want to pull all your funds Thursday in the morning instead of Friday when it comes pay week Friday . Then , when I wait to do same day pay for my Contractors , I get a multitude of problems ! They say I have insufficient funds to cover that charge which I do and I go to the help department show them that I have sufficient funds to support my payroll and then they tell me I have to wait and it’s happened pretty much every week I’ve done pay . Then, when I do pay for same day deposits , it won’t go through until Monday ! Which is dumb because I submit my payroll hours before the cutoff time for the day and I pay an extra 3 dollars for them to do same day when clearly it’s not same day anymore now 🤣. I’ve had these problems for all 6 months I have been with them and at this point it is absolutely ridiculous and if you need any help from the banking team pushing through the money then it probably won’t be until Monday when they come back because they leave at 5 and are not available on weekends . I’m fed up with this service which I liked overall but they way they pay my people is ridiculous and my contractors have family’s that they need to support ! Again absolutely ridiculous.
Garbage
Too difficult to operate from a pc . This IPhone reliance is GARBAGE . Make this trash service easy to operate from a PC tech clowns !!!
No Control
The entire app leaves you at the mercy of an AI chatbot that hides your payroll data behind a chat window. You must converse with a broken AI that provides you with optional answers. For instance, if you request to change a check date to sooner, if will offer you to change it for two months later with no option to cancel that conversation. Absolutely trash. I’ll be switching back to standard payroll, this is a terrible terrible design.
Go with a different service
I downloaded Roll by ADP because I wanted to run payroll for my S Corp. Intuit’s prices have been steadily increasing and this seemed like a good option based on YouTube reviews. I filled everything out, including sensitive financial information and power of attorney forms, then every time I logged in after that it started me from scratch as if I had never registered. I had an email from my bank confirming that Roll was connected to my business account.
I emailed customer service because my two help chats in the app were not helpful. Customer service said they had no record of my name or my company. The next day, all of my corporate information appeared properly in the app, but it repeatedly says that they are still finalizing my company setup and to try again in a few minutes. This has now been going on for a day and a half. Not sure when those few minutes will end…
This concept has so much potential, but it simply doesn’t work in its current form. I’m going to give it one more day and then I’m going to cancel and go with a more expensive service.
Buggy and cumbersome
Phone app only, no desktop version, buggy and cumbersome.
Not great for employees
My company just started using this stupid app. I can see no way to access anything via a website or a windows app. I download all my pay statements to my computer. Don’t see a way to do that on this. Also not happy that there is no extra app security that I can set up such as facial recognition or whatever. There should be access via ADP site also so you can actually go online to see your stubs and information. Not everyone runs their lives via their phone. Not happy at all
No customer service
I've asked for a password reset 4 times over the past hour and have not received no code!
Fantasy
I don’t usually write reviews but if I give you all my documents you should give a reason for cancellation. My experience with Roll Payroll Application was highly unsatisfactory. Out of the blue, my account got cancelled, and despite my efforts to find out why, the customer support offered no explanation. This lack of communication and transparency is a major letdown, leaving me frustrated and questioning the reliability of the service.
No one around to help
I personally would not recommend this app. They say it is user-friendly, but it is not. It is actually far from it. I have had ADP payroll for about five years. but since I know longer have employees and only have contractors, you cannot use ADP payroll. You have to use Roll by ADP. There is no one for customer service. There is no phone number to contact anybody if needed I do not recommend this.
Do Not Get This App!!
Firstly the app never worked for me, I gave them all my information and they said it would take a few days to approve. It never worked i messaged them it’s like talking to a wall. Even after getting in contact with them them my account still didn’t work.
Secondly I understand that this is an Ai app so I knew I was going to be talking with a chatbot, it would’ve been great if the chatbot can actually help you instead of giving generic answers, also another reason I got this app was that if you needed assistance you’d be able to contact support. It’s literally impossible to get in contact with support! I was only able to get to support after telling the chatbot I wanted to cancel my account /Subscription a bunch of times and I finally got a number. After calling I was on hold for over 1 hour before actually getting to talk to somebody. I really wanted this to work, maybe in the future they can fix all these issues but I wouldn’t recommend this it’s a waste of time.
