Roman Calculator Reviews

Cool!!

A totally awesome/pointless app-but it is so much fun. (It's right up there with the virtual slide-rule apps) So now you can figure out those movie copyright dates on old movies and calculate how many years had elapsed between releases. Essential if you eschew all things Arabic. Impress your friends when you split a dinner check, "oh, you don't understand Roman Numerals......?"

I don't understand the negative comment. I use the Roman Calc all the time and never had a crash. My background and button styles stay set from launch to launch.

This is not only a BLAST! But truly simple and useful. I really don't take the time to write comments, but this was just too good to let pass without letting others know about it.

Great App

The Roman Calculator is not just a novelty conversion app, but a real scientific calculator. It is also educational. I like the history given in the help screen. I never knew you could do fractions in roman numerals. Although the roman fractions round to the nearest 1/12 the Arabic values keep their actual values so your calculations are always correct. The graphics are great and high quality. No comparison with the other Roman Calculator apps available. Works on my ipod and ipad. Well worth the $0.99.
