Forever lost customer
I have start using the app lite version in November 2015. In December, i bought the full version cause I was worry to loose my data at the end of the 3 mounts trial. Everything was going very great! I loved the app! But on 26 February a message appears in the Option Panel saying "Dear customer, your license has expired click here to renew". Following the link, I understood that Roomplan was askig me to pay to save my data in a server. On the website it was saying that "The backup function allows you to backup and recover data if the device is lost or broken". As I have never lost or broke my phone I was ready to take that risk. Everything was still great until 20 march 2016 when...Yes, all my reservation were GONE!! So, I had contact the app administrator. There is the answer I got: I'm very sorry but if you don't have the "Room Plan App - Server Functions" license we can't restore your lost data. This kind of error are very common on our app. For example, you can lose your reservations after a big OS update or after cleaning your cached data with another app The weird thing is that I did not do any IOS update at all or cleaning cache on any app. My opinion is that this app is unreliable and should not be use in any case other than if your are ready to pay for the back up license.
