I am payer client and I am absolutely bothered after last update. 1) I can’t put rooms together 2) Problems with stairs 3) Objects appears automatically but in different position I want to work as before. I will change my openion after I lern new update or I will change app. I will see. Also I had to do update in real work. It was terrible to see changes when I was with my client. I am very dissapointed.
Ipad Pro 2021 all 3D models does not function, show only blank screen.
Aplikace funguje krásně, výborně zaznamená a změří místnosti, jen měsíční předplatné silně limituje její užití. Jednorázový poplatek by dával mnohem větší smysl. Monthly subscription doesnt make so much sense with this app. One time buy will be much better.
Been using it to estimate floor area works extremely well . And surprised how the accuracy has improved .
Just trying out the app to see if I want to purchase. I have two Stained-glass Windows in my front room and for both of them the app couldn’t figure out if it was a window or not. It tried to overcompensate on one side to make the window next to it larger and then eliminated the other one and made it more wall space. which completely threw off square footage of the wall I was trying to estimate . Useful but not 100% accurate. I have a rather unusual house so probably more accurate in a normal house. I just thought you might wanna know it does not recognize stained glass windows.
If you take a screenshot they disable the app entirely.
unusable app. it constantly freezes after a scan. once it freezes it corrupts all the previous scans, thus loosing all the work.
This app fills a hole for Symbility users. This has worked for me nearly 100% of the time. With a little practice, you can determine which method works best for you. Using the brick mode is very similar to using the exact mate AR mode. The measurements are accurate and import directly into Symbility and Xactimate. The developers are amazing and responsive. They have added features as requested, like being able to take photos with a room that are exportable in a zip file. The photos are labeled by the room name so you don’t lose track of them. It even has an exterior mode, so you can do a footprint of the house and use that to accurately draw the roof. The only issue seems to be that when imported into Symbility the window heights are not accurate, but the developers are working on that right now. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to scan a room for accurate measurements and wants to use their mobile device. You can leave the clipboard at home.
Love the price and the accuracy! My biggest complaint is the inability to revise the sketches in Xactimate once you import the ESX file so I’m keeping it at 4 stars until that’s fixed
I subscribed to this exclusivily for xactimate use as it exports in ESX. Wall thinkness seems to default to 1/4" and cannot be changed that I can find. As a result wall thinkness in X8 is 1/4" and if you try and change that X8 prevents it due to overlap of area or block requiring a resize or move. The next problem is the corners. They will be out by 1 or 2 degrees and the corner cannot be changed in X8. If it's a simple square room both the wall corner and thickness can be changed/corrected, but who needs a simple sq room? It seems once the room deviates from a sq you lose the abilty to correct it. It scans great, it's just the result for X8 is near worthless.
