I wont use, wasted time posting only to get a room reply within seconds (so obviously fake) to get me to pay to read message. Needs to be upfront its pay and its always sure thing when you get instant replies, with no real time to get even a viewing! Then ask for money to read. Exact same thing many dating sites do only to pay and the person doesn’t respond back

Felt like spam

I could only access messages in my inbox after paying a subscription fee of $12 for the first week. Every message that came through had a generic name with some message for a need for a roommate. I got no responses on all the messages I responded to. Felt like a scam. That was an absolute waste of $12

Had a horrible experience, home looked nice and safe. When moved in the owner lived there constantly complaining about the shower. I felt like the owner did not want me to take showered. Another issue was cooking. Received complaints about the kitchen each time I cooked, while the owner would leave dirty dishes in the sink and items on the countertops. Owner also had keys to my room and would enter it when I was not there. Plus, secret recordings and video tapping without permission. Heavy smoking odor noted as the home would chain smoke near the garage.

awful

I bought their 1 week subscription and posted my ad once i verified my ID, my address, phone number, AND email. Two days into the subscription they delete my account for “suspicious activity”. I verified all of the things they told me to so it makes no sense. Apple won’t issue me a refund and their customer support doesn’t do anything to resolve it. You’re better off using spare room online.

Horrible app

zedek73 on

I used the app and was convinced to pay the $30 monthly fee in order to read an email from someone who advertised what looked like a good room. Turns out he was a scammer who tried to bait and switch me on a totally different location. He was “verified” too. The app constantly matches me with women though I specified men only. I don’t normally bother writing negative reviews, but this app stinks.

Why pay

1JBandz on

It makes no sense to pay for this app. It’s not worth it supposed to be a platform to help people.

WASTE, TRASH, SHOULD NOT BOTHER USING THIS APP

DON’T use this TRASH app on

APPLICATION SHOULD BE WIPED FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH AND ANY KNOWN SERVERS AND NETWORKS IN THE UNIVERSE. This app is absolute garbage. Straight trash. Can’t message without paying subscription. The app is riddled with scam bots and fake accounts. App reminds me of something from the early 2000s that has absolutely no account creation restrictions. App is tan by bots. App is worse than twitter at its height of account bots and ads. Scam bots also resend their message automations within seconds of the first ones they send. Plus every time you get a message you get an email as well doubling the bombardment of trash. Any decently knowledgeable application developer could probably create an app words better by themselves as an IT team of 1.

BOTS. Bunch of bots. 2 Thumbs down.
