Root Sports is the worst thing to happen to sports since Magic Johnson’s AIDS … I have never dealt with a more horrible organization. They should be ashamed for partnering with FUBO TV, which has locked me out from watching MARINERS !!!

I have a television package that includes Root Sports Northwest, why am I unable to stream the games I want to watch? The same game is blacked out on every other app because of my region, so basically if I’m not at home I’m screwed.

When I sign in to my tv provider (Directv) the app just spins indefinitely and never loads. What a total piece of garbage. Never actually had an app be COMPLETELY useless before. Congrats Root Sports! 1 star is a generous rating for you. Don't bother wasting your time with this one. Totally get why the average rating for this is 1.4 although I'm not sure how anyone is rating it over 1...

App works great on iPad or iPhone except for one thing. You can’t use airplay.

I almost didn’t bother downloading the app because of all the negative reviews stating that streaming doesn’t work for Comcast customers. That may have been true in the past, but to those like myself who are interested now, I can confirm that it works for me. It was easy to sign in using my Xfinity info, the video quality is good, and there have been no loading/buffering issues. There is a small delay from TV to app but that’s to be expected. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

I can’t respond to texts, browse the web or anything else while on this app. Worst app on my phone. Time to update with all that new ownership money. Figure it out.

This app is so bad it should be criminal. Often, it will work on my phone but not on my iPad where the iPad will say DRM Error. Yet, I pay for Xfinity and a zillion channels including Root. Also Requires constant sign-ins to connect w Xfinity, which isn’t much better. Incredibly frustrating. Ridiculous.

I just get a black screen and it never loads. The app is soo trash

Was so excited to watch the Trail Blazers from my phone. Worked for two games. Now I’m suddenly getting an alert, “Invalid device zip.” Nothing has changed about my device or my location, no place within the app to confirm/edit the zip, and nothing has changed within my phone settings. Location services is turned on. Tried to contact customer support for this app - it says, “invalid domain.” This app has SO MUCH potential. Please PLEASE fix the bugs.

When Root took control of the Mariners and Kraken, the local Puget Sound fans lost the ability to just turn on the TV and watch and support the local team … letting Root have that was very sad for the fans, who now have to pay Root. The teams should never have signed up with them. I guess it is a money hungry world.
