Works on my iPad but as I navigate to the file to update, the App exits!! Strange!!

Does not work with Roots Magic 9

Have had RootsMagic for sometime now and like most people we just let time go by well i updated all my file and programmes just recently and found that this programs is working second to none and is very easy to use Would strongly recommend this programme for Pc and Apple

The App uses iTunes, but won't accept an iTunes card for payment.

Rootsmagic is a good little app to enable a read-only version of my rootsmagic family tree to be carried on my iPad. No bugs found so far.

Not a waste of time. 1st point - it’s free 2nd point - only designed to display your computer based file. it’s vary handy, particularly if you use the 3rd point - not that hard to start up. just understand to scroll below apps to ‘file sharing’ 4th point - via apple tv can mirror the tree onto a big screen. definitely a plus

Pretty much a waste if time really. All you can do is view files you create on a desktop via Dropbox. You cannot edit, add etc. Rubbish.

I use 3 major applications, each has elements that the other lack but this one has more. I can achieve a lot with this but for me by failing to keep pace with design layouts and onscreen help controls, it has caused some grumbles when bringing new young people into the fold. It may seem tripe but it's these younger ones that will be looking after what we have started, some I have shown have gone to FTM because of layout and a couple have joined MyHeritage for its color/styling.

I have used this program to share the information with my family so they may be included in their past

Have been using paf for some years and was somewhat wary when it came to changing over. Still early days but appears to be excellently set out, easy to use with a user friendly feel.
