Rove Dash Cam Reviews

Junk

winwin2024 on

United States

This camera is worthless, how so? 1, the camera is recording the entire time however, you can’t go back and review the footage that’s record but nothing is recording. The emergency button to capture an event doesn’t work either. 2, you can’t even see the license plate number of the vehicle that’s directly in from of you. 3, support is useless and no help. Avoid at all cost.

Nice Camera

All is ok EXCEPT, when that app is connected to it the app doesn’t show the correct time.

Waste of Money

This has been by far the worst dash cam ever!! Does not connect to phone, always states WiFi disconnected!! Can’t see the videos on my phone! Have tried multiple attempts with tech support to no avail, this dash cam is going to the trash!

Rove camera to iPhone

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up the rove R2 4K pro camera to be able to view it on my iPhone.

Dash cam doesn’t connect

Leharkin on

United States

I tried connecting to my dash cam for the first time to provide video footage of a hit-and-run. I tried everything the app said, but the dash cam won’t stay connected to my phone. I feel like I wasted money buying this cam at this point since I can’t use the footage.

Horrible app

German_Chick on

United States

I just opened the app to find it looking to set up my camera that I have had over a year like it’s new. Super annoying when I was trying to retrieve a clip. This app is horrible all together.

Failure of a product

Tibscloud on

United States

I’ve been diligently using this camera for years thinking it was doing its job. The one time I needed it to record an accident, it skipped the frame containing the events of the crash. Using the app to dig through the clunky directory of a 10 hour drive was also infuriating as the menu would constantly reset and I’d have to enter the date, select the camera and wait for each frame to load until I could reach time of the accident, which was actually missing. This is an amateurish product that Rove’s customers foolishly rely on.

Great!

Connection problems

Jones_24 on

United States

The app is nice, if it works.... constantly disconnected or having to re-add my dash cam over and over. Pointless if ever needed to pull footage on site when the app doesn't work!

Great camera new update is terrible

Game critic 63 on

United States

Great cameras have two but the new update crashes every time I open the app have to delete and sign back in every time I want to use the app.
