This is great no ads can explore the levels and crazy bosses
Excellent shmup featuring tons of content, varied gameplay, and smooth controls.
Noiz2sa, Parsec47 and some others. 🙂
This is a wonderful SHMUP.
Since the latest update, there is a small but perceptible pause about every second during gameplay.
This is one of my favorite ALL TIME bullet hell games. But aside from that, the developer/customer service response is FRIGGIN INSANE!! I wrote the developers about a crash on iOS 7 after an update, and NOT 2 HOURS LATER they responded, the next day they had an update pushed through fixing the issue. This isn't a new thing either, they have always reponded VERY quickly to any bugs or issues that have arrose over the YEARS that this game has been in the AppStore. Fantastic game, fantastic developer support, and a game that has been kept running on every device pretty much since the AppStore launched... respect! And if you're into bullet hell/shmup games, GET THIS... it's a classic. =oD
This game is incredible. There are enough levels to keep you occupied for quite a long time. The controls work fantastically. You move by sliding your finger across the screen (It doesn't have to be covering your ship) and a second finger activates your special move. Double-tapping pauses the game. Updates are somewhat infrequent, but when new hardware and firmware comes out, comparability comes shortly afterwards. After the last update, the game was broken on iOS 7. I was worried that it would simply be broken for an extended period of time. The update to fix the issue came out the next day. The leaderboards are (so far) free of hackers, so that's a plus. There are 40 levels for each mode. There are 4 modes, each heavily inspired by a different shmup. That means there are 160 levels to beat in this game. All the modes have very different mechanics. NORM is a standard shmup mode where you have bombs that destroy surrounding bullets. PSY is a more grazing focused mode. If you graze enough, you fill up a meter. When the meter fills up, a bomb type burst activates. The special move (which can be held down) spins your ship, increasing the graze range. IKA (my personal favorite) is heavily inspired by the Dreamcast classic, Ikaruga. The bullets are two different colors. You are surrounded by a colored shield, which you can match to the bullets, reflecting them back at the enemy. The special move switches the color of the shield. GW has a shield that you must charge up to use. The meter increases over time, and you hold the special move to activate it. It's a short range shield that gets smaller until exploding in a longer-range, quick burst. There's more to this game, but I honestly can't explain all of it. Just play the game. If you're feeling reluctant, just get the ad-supported version for free. You won't regret it.
For making an iOS classic AND continuing to update it for new firmware/hardware. I will forever be thankful!
Awesome game. Can't really play it well because the alternative fire modes don't work at all. Sad. Please fix. Some margin on the screen for easier control without blocking the view (like bug princess, etc.) would also be nice.
