Rubycon Reviews

This is the one

Delivers on promises. Audiobus compatible. Great sounds. Responsive. It is a couple of dollars more than the same developer's R960, but it is worth the extra cost.

Best step sequencers

The two step sequencers made by this gentleman are EXACTLY what they claim to be and work so well it's making me giddy using them ! Peace Christo

Very nice, but no transpose?

Great analog step sequencer in the Moog tradition, but it can't transpose a sequence from a MIDI keyboard! For that matter, there doesn't seem to be a way to transpose a sequence from the app itself. The ratchet feature is very cool for doing that TD-like rhythm effect they did in the early eighties. A lot of fun to play, and much cheap than an actual 960.

Loads of fun but...

This is a great app for synth wanking like it was 1974 all over again, which is a lot of fun and a nice way to record and slice out useful bits, or if you had several iPads and a couple of friends you could probably honor this product's naming roots. But in the modern world the inability to have clock drive or listen or even identify sources after flipping the switches is a serious weakness. So far the lack of communication from the developer is little off as well. Five stars if it was "all that". Three stars for time travel fun. Idvgo to four stars if it was unreliable and drifted tuning based on ambient temperature. I owned a PAIA 12, Moog and an Ob 8x2. This is fun but undercooked.
