This is by far the best running up out there. It has EVERYTHING (minus its sister app’s (ease into C25K) ability to advance or repeat aim interval) . One of the few apps to let you set goals (distance, time OR calorie - some only available with plus version but worth every penny) as well as set walk/run intervals. It’s the only app that has all these features in one and NO SUBSCRIPTION needed) Plus it plays your music & has voice options to choose from for your prompts & notifications (and the voices don’t sound like creepy automated voices, they sound like real people). Big thank you to Blufin for updating the plus version of the app. You have THE BEST app out there please keep those UPDATES coming!!!! By this app you will not regret it and you will save so much money over the other apps that require subscriptions for all of the same capability.
Was good
I’ve had the Run Helper Plus app for years. Last night it stopped working and I had to uninstall and when I tried to reinstall it tells me the app is no longer available. RunHelper Plus was the absolute best app and I bought it years ago. Please bring it back. I need that app. I use it several times a week.
Don’t work!!!!
Tried to get the app to share to FB but it don’t!!! Have asked several times for help but didn’t even get a reply!!!! Still would like some help with this app!!!!
Still good!
Still like the program a lot! But sometimes when you start a run the music does not start. Also on an iPhone 5 at least, if you have a lot of music playlists you can't activate the ones deeper down the list as they simply bounce back up before you can checkmark them.
Love
This app is easy to use and gives you the two best options: time and distance. The GPS is great, the maps are fun to look at at the end, and the stats are helpful too. All in all a fabulous app to keep you running and feeling motivated by your own results.
Not the best app
What ever time I run on the home screen is always a different time in the journal.
Love this app!
I love that I can run pandora and switch back and forth with no interruption!
Love it, but.....
Lately this has been happening more often: run the time on the first mile seems right, but the time on the other miles is the combined time of previous miles plus the current mile. My fastest time on the journal home page is about 20s slower than my journal tells me is my fastest time. Other than the time issues, I love this app and use it every day!
Also, my total run time is logged but several show up in the journal as 0:00 :( Please fix, I love this app!!!
Great app to use for training
The new update did a lot of new things, and I think it is now on par with any of the other running apps.
Solid, No-Nonesense Run Tracking
I started running using Ease Into 5K, then progressed onto Bridge to 10 and Hal Higdon Half-Marathon Novice 1, also created by Bluefin Software. Since completing those training programs, I've used just about every major and minor name in run tracking apps, trying to find the "Best." I quickly discovered that unless you have a need for features like Heart Rate monitoring and the like, less is often more. This is where RunHelper really shines. Rather than poking through a bunch of features you'll never use, RunHelper allows you to track your running progress, set simple distance goals, and share your progress on Facebook and Twitter. If you're looking for additional features, the full version of RunHelper will do the job while still removing the extra fluff that gets between you and your run.
