When it says free, I assume free. Checked for in-app purchase and there was none. I do not buy apps that have in-app purchases on top of initial payment. So when this said free and had no indication of in-app purchase I assumed no fee would be required. Downloaded and opened app and it would not do what it claimed it would do... until I paid a fee to open available options. Even after paying the fee it does not do what it claims. Not at all impressed; this app is not worth free, let alone a $2.99 fee. Sadly I had to give it at least one star to rate it.

you can't export any files you input to this app. makes it useless.

Have to say that I purchased this app a few years back to use on my iPad 3, but I soon found out that it didn't work so well on it, videos would play or I would get low frame rates and so on, especially 720p or 1080p mkv format But now I am using an iPad pro and thus far this play just about everything I throw at it no problem, even dual audio files with multiple subtitle formats, something that I was not able to do before on my iPad 3 I'm glad I decided to try this app again once I bought the iPad pro because now I am able to play files without having to re encode them to MP4's anymore!!

There are players that play 720p versions out there but none of them play the sound. This one I paid for thinking it was different. NOPE! Should've just stuck with the free app that didn't play the sound as well.
