SA Fishing Reviews

Faulty app

Robbo1949 on

Australia

The App logo has a red dot with a white 1 in it at the top right hand corner which I cannot get rid of. I’ve reported it but it’s still there. Normally this signifies a message or similar and once you’ve read it or acted on it it should disappear.

As a responsible fisher I'd like up to date information following changes to rules particularly as we fish remote without internet coverage ! Cheers.

If your a serious recreational fisherman in South Australia, then this is simply a must have. This is the PIRSA fishing app, auto updates to all the latest PIRSA fishing regulation closure information etc. Five buttons to easily navigate through app Home, Rules, Closures, Report & More. Pressing the Rules button opens a page with three categories 1.Species Information 2.Gear Information 3.General Rules & Information The More button has seven categories 1.PIRSA News 2.Angler Diary-keep a photo record of your catch history & list your favourite fishing spots. 3.SA Marine Weather 4.Settings 5.Notifications 6.Contact PIRSA 7.App Feedback Extremely intuitive well put together, this app won't disappoint. I are NOT a PIRSA employee lol, but this excellent app and no one reviewed it and it deserved that much at least!

PIRSA Fishery App

Good, very handy tool to stay legal in SA. Update regularly to stay on top of closures and restrictions. Fish ID and additional rules on equipment available. Available on all platforms so there's no excuse not to have it on a phone or tablet, and no excuse if we're busted with illegal catch. If in doubt, check it out.
