Why must we as South Africans be shamed by this incredibly pathetic app. Please rather remove the app, it embarrasses its creator, SAA and every South African having to use it

This is the first time I have ever written a review on anything but this app is so bad I couldn’t stop myself. I have tried on multiple occasions to access the app to access my miles, resetting my password and starting to wonder if it is intentionally designed to be not accessed! Don’t waste your time and not worth the frustration. Is there any way to rate this called “app” as zero stars?
Useless
An app in general is usually meant to be a more user friendly version of the website. Well jokes on us- this app is terrible. Stick to the website until someone fixes this slow outdated user-problematic site!
I suggest that our friends at SAA copy an app from the likes of Virgin or Singapore Airlines. Whoever is responsible for the latest abortion is clearly not a traveller or have very little experience in development. Nothing about this app was thought through or designed in structure. Find someone qualified to do the job and at least give the users - something that works !
It hardly works, I can’t sign in most of the time but yet the other app or website my username and password works. It pretty much like the service from our national carrier: gross incompetence
Another terrible product from a terrible company. If anyone is looking for how not to consider a customer’s actual needs when launching a digital proposition then this is a case study for the years. Unbelievable that this made it out of QA.
This is the worst app I have come across for years. I cannot even find where there rewards are (eg. how many miles I need to redeem a rental voucher) - an app needs to be intuitive this is unacceptable - really badly designed. Any why is it not part of the SAA app - I had to call the contact Center to find that out: costing me and SAA
This should not be a standalone app but rather part of the main SAA app as most other airlines have done with their frequent flier programs. The app is also very slow and the UI feels like a school project.
Most SAA client experiences are a let down. This App appears to be a skinned version of something else and not SAA’s own version. Under address it requires ones ‘state’ and not province. You can not up date your address and if you check in online you are unable to save your boarding pass to Apple Wallet. You are then required to email your boarding pass thus negating the role of an App. The keyboard has oversized text buttons and is not mobi-friendly. Really feels like a rushed job by SAA. Much of the content appears to be hyperlinked back to the website. Strange set up this.
