I signed up to watch Skeem Saam, but i got Endless PnP and Boxer ads for 15-20 minutes straight, Deleted that App right away. Ads after Ads after Ads, yerrr motho aka Lapa!

Adverts

Repeats adverts countless times and never plays what I intend to catch up. It wastes a lot of data on adverts.

Too many ads

Good app to catch up but there too many ads while watching your favorite soapie.

Excessive Data Consumption on SABC+ App

Zamokuhle P Dlamini on

South Africa

I've been a loyal Skeem Saam fan since episode 1, season 1. However, due to my busy schedule, I often miss episodes and rely on the SABC+ app for catch-up. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been disappointing. Last week, I had to catch up on 5-6 episodes, which consumed a staggering 11+ GB of data. This excessive data usage is unsustainable and unacceptable. I urge the SABC+ development team to optimize their app's data usage. It's essential to provide a seamless viewing experience without breaking the bank. I hope the developers take my feedback seriously and work towards a more data-efficient solution.

Ads and skipping episodes

WonSoju on

South Africa

An ad loads right when you start an episode ad by the moment it ends, it starts the next episode… skipping the one you selected? But it’s good for live games

Frustrating bugs

Im so frustrated. There is a big when I try to sign up or log in the “done” button hides away, which means i cannot select it. Please fix this.

What a horrible app

LuluNju on

South Africa

It goes to an add mid episode then automatically switches to the next episode. I can’t get through 1 episode because of this

It’s very bad catching up in this app

Wonke’s on

South Africa

This app is the worst, it’s full off hundreds of adverts and also after the adverts sometimes the episode you are watching just goes back from the start.

Love it

Tumz B on

South Africa

I enjoy using the app and am so happy about the content that’s available. Please just check out the desktop version of this. There’s a weird thing that happens where playback isn’t seamless. I’ve been watching Home Affairs and one moment the playback will fast forward then rewind to a different part. It’s not a pleasant desktop experience
