Fight for glory as an officer of the Royal Tierran Army in a rich, low-fantasy world where gunpowder and magic rule the battlefield. Choose a horse, pick a sergeant and lead a unit of Royal Dragoons through five years of brutal war. Battle your enemies with your mind, your wits or with pistol and sword. Earn the loyalty of your subordinates and the friendship of your fellow officers, or betray them for your own gain. As armies, heroes and philosophies clash in the forests of the north, your choices could mean the difference between everlasting glory and an ignominious death.

Sabres of Infinity Reviews
Good
Fantastic, it really does a great job creating a mental image. Along side the easy to grasp time period and universe. Wonderfully good. I find myself re-reading this one time after time and thinking about it often. I prefer this one over the sequel, as this shows you what it was like to be a commander but not be burdened with the paper work (yet) which truly made this one shine over guns of infinity. Would 10/10 recommend!
If you like battles - it’s a game for you!
Very well written. Rich game, yet easy to grasp and understand. I died three times while playing, which hasn’t ever happened to me in any other Choice game, but I just kept on playing from the last checkpoint, because it was so fascinating. Maybe a 2/3 of my deaths were very random and difficult to predict. Nonetheless, one of the best Choice games that focus on battles - you won’t find love here - but you’ll see heads rolling. Recommended!
Addictive!!!
Love this game it’s so well written and great storyline reminds of Sharpe. Played so many times and never get bored. The sequel is just as good and carries on from this great story. Just waiting for the 3rd instalment to come out I’m gagging to play
Awesome!
One of the best stories I've ever read! My IPad is full of these types of choose your own adventure stories, and this is one of the best!
Get it!
Loved it, I've read all of the choiceofgames/hosted games and this is up there with the best.
Good, not great
Sabre didn't feel a whole lot like a multiple choice game, there were only occasional choices - some held absolutely no weight, others barely contributing to your stats despite months and years going by in game time in which I would have expected options to improve stats. Good storyline and extremely well written, but sets out to tell the story rather than include you in shaping it in any significant way.
Absolutely amazing!
I was drawn in from the start. The story in very clean and the choices make a real impact on the way your story ends.
Pretty darn good!
I'm quite the connoisseur when it comes to text based RPGs like this. Every morning on the way to uni I like to dabble in them! This is one of my favourites by far and it's been a good amount of time that I've been waiting for the sequel. Huzzah!
Fantastic game
I guarantee you that this is the best Lordly Battle CYOA game you’ll find on the App Store. Lead weird magical fake-Britain/France against the barbarian hordes, but still remain a gentleman.
Disappointing update
I first played this game when it originally came out, and I loved it!
I recently decided to give it another go and realised that the author has nerfed the character so much that it seems like it's impossible to create a character that is both able to do well in the first game and still stand up in the second. ( I will admit, though, that I'm basing this off the demo of the sequel that I have played)
