I updated the app and now I can’t resize the music. I double checked the settings and I have them set to allow resizing but it doesn’t work.
Bad
It would help so much if we could share our lists with families.
We LOVE this app and have been using for years. We use it to play an instrumental playlist nightly for bedtime songs but for some reason the default is now all songs with voices. I can select that one song from the playlist is accompaniment only but there’s no option to select the whole list with that setting. The only two listed are Voices & Default (which is also voices). Please bring back the feature to easily select the entire playlist be accompaniment only.
For a year now when I open a hymn and then turn my phone horizontal the phone glitches and it takes a bit before the hymn will switch to that view. So I always join in singing after everyone else (most people still seem to use physical copies). Leaving two stars in hopes developers see this and fix the app. Everything else is great though. One other thing: I wish it went back to where you had to drag the page down to scroll back to the top. I hold my phone with one hand while singing, so I can’t reach the “scroll to top” button. Back when all you had to do was pull down on the page I could do it with one finger when holding my phone with one hand.
Great app but -1 star for removing the ability to swipe up from anywhere to return to the top of a hymn. The button may be more intuitive but it’s ergonomically inconvenient. Also the huge green play button is ugly and takes up valuable screen real estate. What was wrong with the previous version?
The app is great but I used to be able to make playlists with Spanish and English songs but now it won’t allow it since it plays the song in whatever settings you have it on. Either all Spanish or all English. Before it would play the song with the language you added it on, which is perfect for practicing our primary program since we usually do a bilingual program with a mix of songs in Spanish and English. Anyway, if it’s not able to be fixed anymore I understand but I do miss that it could do that.
You use to be able the pull the bottom of the page up and on release it would scroll to the top. I thought this user interaction was well designed. Now there is just some text that says “Scroll to Top” that scrolls to the top when tapped. Could you add a setting to switch between the two different scrolling styles? Thanks!
When using the Sacred Music app on my iPad Pro MTXT2LL/A, version iPad OS 16.4.1 (a) if I am in landscape mode, the list of hymn numbers on the right of the screen (on the page listing all hymns in order by number) does not work. If I press on a number, the app takes me to the hymn on the left nearest the number I am trying to navigate to on the right. If I rotate the iPad to portrait mode, the links on the right work just fine. I like to use the app in landscape mode because it makes the music larger and easier to read. So, If any developers happen to read this, please see if you can activate the links to the hymns in landscape mode. Thank You! Thank You!
