How on earth can these apps not have other languages as a option?

There’s some useful functions hidden in there - the UI needs a lot of work though. Example: the media controls (music/fm) have tiny buttons - no use with riding gloves. Big buttons for use when handlebar mounted instead of loads of wasted space. Too many sub menus - unify the FM/Music screens in one. Language defaults to Chinese - I understand, it’s a Chinese company. But it could pickup the regionalisation from the system like most apps do (there is an English option if you play around for a bit). The big issue - it’s portrait only. My phone mounts landscape, and anything that’s portrait only never get used at all. As I say - the actual functions work fine, and with a little UI work it would make a great substitute for the handlebar remote.
