It’s not the pure YM2612 and SN76489 emulation I wanted, more modern sounds or that have modern effects on them. I don’t think it’s possible to add your own sounds from the real hardware. It seems it is better to try BS16i with a Mega Drive sound font or even Deflemask for real Sega sounds.
Good sounds, and the sequencer sounds great until you try and record it as an auv3…. At which point it seems to be broken, as it never seems to trigger at the start of the sequence no matter how carefully I time my button press - always a third or half way through. Pointless. So disappointing.
Great app with marvellous sounds of the past. Well worth it. Tanks and keep up the good work.
The sounds on this synth are amazing, and it has lots of great features. However, it can never seem to quantise properly. I mean it can quantise, just not fully. Like it always sounds a bit off. Is there a way you guys can fix this?
Dont get sucked in this is so rubbish, wish i could get a refund.
I’m sure it’s something that will be fixed in the near future (jan 2022) but I’m finding the synth crashes regularly in AUM. Currently sequencing it with xequence 2 and every time I reopen the iPad (2022 m2 iPad Pro) I find the app has failed to load, still usable just remember to save your program before closing.
I very seldom write reviews but this music app is awesome and very addictive as good results come easily, this is up with Korg gadget.
Brings back memories of sounds/tunes of the good old games on old game consoles… but now you can use these incredible preset sounds to experiment making melodic/rhythmic music.. Thank you AudioKit team for your continuous development on good music apps and combined with easy to follow demonstrations by devoted people such as Doug at The Sound Testroom, Gavinski, and Jade Starr, it helps people like me who are just getting into iPad music making at home.
Saga Synth is everything you could ever want in a 16-bit retro synth.
Hi I want a refund because the sounds from the app are not from 16bit sound chips at all there only made on a present day computer
