My order didn’t turn up I was fobbed off by the customer services until I rang again this time I made them know I was not happy since the order still didn’t turn up 45 minutes after the arranged time even though the delivery driver rang during that hour period I told him my address and postcode! He made off with my order!! I will not be ordering from this app again!!!!
Reading all the bad reviews which seem to focus mainly on shaky delivery experience. Luckily I’ve not experienced that as I refuse to buy items that are 20% more expensive than a Sainsbury’s online shop. And that’s before you add the £5 delivery charge. How is that justifiable? They’ve literally baked in additional cost just for using the app! App deleted
Check the prices of groceries on the Sainsbury's website and compare them with the app prices before you place an order. Even if you get free delivery you'll see you're being fleeced if you use Chop Chop.

I ordered a number of items, paid and waited for my delivery. Four expensive items, three frozen food items that I never eat never mind ordered, arrived. I sought the order number of the Ap, it’s not there. I rang to complain, the customer service operator said it’s in the email sent confirming the order. I checked this and the items delivered which I had not ordered were there, and items including fresh bread and garlic were not. I now have items totally around £8 in my freezer. Frozen hash browns, Aunt Bessie roast pots, sweetcorn, and a jar of roast potato seasoning. No apology or explanation was given.

I placed an order via Chop chop which is ran by Sainsbury’s, not only after 2 hours no delivery but when i called to complain no one took my call in the store, it’s impossible to speak to the store only foreign call centre & within 5min of putting the phone down I received an email my order was fully delivered and i was fully charged.
I waited 2.5 hours for the “guaranteed” 1 hour delivery. The order is then marked as delivered without ever arriving. Absolutely shameful garbage, DO NOT USE THIS APP.
I’ve been trying to use this app on and off for years. The majority of the time, the small amount of products on offer aren’t available. Other times my order just hasn’t arrived, and even after chasing customer service, there’s no communication. At the end of the day it then gets cancelled. The orders that do get delivered are usually missing some items, whether through availability or incompetence. The delivery fee is sky-high too!
